Best purchase I've ever made! 5'8". 178 lbs, long wasted. I purchased this for work as I am a Customer Service Mgr. With my black pants and white shirt, it's a polished look! I get many compliments! Material is amazing. Not cheaply made. It covers a portion of my stomach which is why I purchased this. Update: Looking forward to purchasing more. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this vest. It has a nice, heavy weight in the hand, and is lined and well sewn. I am size 16 and XL fits perfectly, even when buttoned. The little buckle on the back to tighten it is a great touch. To be honest, for the price I was expecting something very flimsy. Haven't washed or cleaned it yet, so I can't speak to that, but it looks like it would hold up very well. Read more

I work for a business that requires us to wear vests in our daily work uniform. Unfortunately, the req'd vests we are required to wear, is made of cheap quality material & doesn't fit the women very well. My friend ordered this vest for work, & once I saw how nice it fit her, so did I. First, it compliments a females waistline, its made of good poly material & washes nicely. Its lined. It has 2 ties in the back with a buckle. And its looks good on most of the females. The only negative comment I can give is the back buckle doesn't always stay secure & can easily fall off. The vest itself looks great but boy does it create a ton of static! I needed this for a halloween costume a bit last minute so I made the mistake of cutting out the interior lining to help with the static, since the material is like 100% poylester. But my desperate self forgot that the lining is what holds all the edges of the garment together so then I had to pin the raw edges together, and also you can now see there is like grey or white on the inside of the vest. So I basically ruined the vest (that is more a me problem though). Not an issue of it now looking terrible from the hack job I did as long as the vest remains closed. To my dismay cutting the lining did nothing to help with the static which causes a lot of discomfort for me (as a very conductive static prone individual haha) Why? Because the outside of the vest is like 95% polyester mixed with a tiny bit of spandex. Polyester is my worst enemy. I get shocked by everything I touch. I gave this item 3 stars because I was a walking lightning rod all night. But if you aren't an electrifying mutant like me, I think you will find this vest to be well put together. The vest is nice and sturdy, it doesn't look cheap or thin. The highly synthetic material is what is evil. But now that I basically ruined the vest, I can no longer return it. It served it's purpose but I'm bummed I wont be able to use it again since A, I ruined it by cutting it up and B, it gives me so much static it isn't worth me trying to salvage it. And before anyone asks, yes I used dryer sheets and a steamer to try and help with the static but it did nothing. That is what led me to my terrible idea of cutting out the lining.
