I could easily give no star. It only grips on a very flat surface like a desk but not in your car and it doesn't hold the phone. You will break the phone. But at own risk Read more

Needs a very flat even surface to adhere
It seriously needs to be a perfectly flat surface to stick. I had to put it on the windshield, which is not ideal for me. Now, having said that, it works well. It creates a vacuum which makes this thing stick. Phone stays attached to the magnet well too. It swivels in all directions, but its short form factor makes it hard to put anywhere further way. Does what it's supposed to.
The media could not be loaded. Looking at all the bad reviews I'm going to say user error… Like any other suction cup style item- yes, it does need to be a flat surface with no texture... That's not new information. Like any other suction cup item, the hold time will vary based on the temperature/moisture and how long it's been stuck to the surface. I do not recommend this for long-term unless you're leaving it somewhere with NO MOISTURE & no long drop to floor/surface because even with a flat surface it will eventually fall off over time.
