This dress is incredibly comfortable. And being a kind of tall girl at 5’8 I was surprised how it still draped down to the floor. Very flattering. Lots of stretch. Great quality. Perfect for plus size formal. I’m five 5 1/2 so it was a tad bit long even with 3.9 inch heels on. I had to hold the tail of the dress up to climb stairs. Split is pretty high but still tasteful. Read more

The length was a little off and the rouching wasnt sitting where the the pictures showed. However, my biggest issue was that as soon as I opened the bag, it reeked of stale cigarettes. It felt like I walked into a bar in the 80's. The velvet was not soft enough for my taste either. Read more

Beautiful color and fabric is very soft BUT — the fabric is very THIN — looks and feels like the cheap “velveteen that it is. The padding in the bust cup is crooked and cannot be easily removed to fix without taking a seam a loose. The hem is not finished all the way around and the split is very HIGH and very WIDE. This is suitable for Cosplay, a school theater production or cruise ship formal night. Definitely would NOT wear FOR a FORMAL BLACK TIE EVENT OR WEDDING. Read more

I am 5'6" and weigh 225 pounds. I opted for the XL and it fit like a glove. I received several compliments. It was comfortable, great for the part indoor part outdoor winter wedding we attended. The rouching took eyes away from my apron belly. Quality is fine. It is on the thinner side but that attributes to the stretch which is a good thing!
