Good products really do make all the difference. I haven’t had a straightener in years because I always have a hard time getting my hair to the texture I want it when straight. Getting this straightener paired with the Olaplex No. 9 and a blow dry first, FINALLY got me to the smooth, almost silky texture I’d given up on finding. First of all, the customer service is wonderful, definitely a five star experience! Secondly, these are great hair straighteners, they heat well and are smooth going through the hair. It’s difficult to find ones that heat all the way to the pointed end, without paying $200. My well used 10+ year old Tigi ones finally gave up, and I was about to buy the expensive ones grudgingly, then found these and thought I’d take a flyer. So glad I did! I bought 3 for all the girls in the house, and everyone is happy. After 1 year, one set wasn’t heating properly, so on the off chance I reached out to the company- 3 days later I had a new set in hand!! Read more
I have naturally thick/curly hair that frizzes if left to its own devices so a straightening iron is something I always keep in my possession. My last one took a nose dive off the counter and stopped getting up to temp so I had to quickly replace it. This one had good reviews with great results in the customer photos, and the price was much better than Ulta Beauty (which I almost visited out of desperation). I waited one day for it to arrive and got right to work seeing what I got for the money. Yessssss! Once it got to temp (I like 450 degrees) which took no time at all, it worked its magic. The pic is left side straightened, right side still natural curls. My hair is long so it takes almost an hour to get each chunk of hair that I divide up, but the end results are worth it to me. My hair is soft, smooth, and a lot less frizz. One downside is that the straightener has a burnt smell to it after a while. Maybe the temp I use is too high, but if my hair starts frying off I guess that’ll be my answer 😅 The other downside is where the on/off button is located. It’s on the bottom side and my hand brushes over it repeatedly and I’m wary I’ll accidentally turn it off. I’m always hesitate about buying the off brand cheaper straighteners but so far so good with this one. I also like the long oval shape of the iron. It’s esthetically pleasing to me. Read more

I bought this because of all the great reviews but I didn’t find it to be that great. For reference I do have fine hair. This works well at straightening my hair quickly but I find that it’s doesn’t glide smoothly through my hair. It also pulls my hair out if I don’t use really small sections. For these reasons I haven’t tried curling my hair with it. It also still leaves my hair a bit frizzy looking at the ends even though my hair is healthy. I will say though that it keeps my hair straight for literally week which is great! Overall just not the best quality. But works if you are in a pinch and need something affordable. Read more
Pros: heats up quickly, variable heat settings, auto off.. it does what it needs to but it doesn’t do it GREAT. Cons: it broke after less than a year. It doesn’t glide smoothly. Random strands of hair will get caught. Overall, it’s an okay product. However, for the price, there are better products that have a longer lifespan. Read more
