OK, to be clear, I am reviewing this item as a 3 in 1 shooting stick, not as a camera tripod (though I'll make some comments). I purchased the item with deliberate intent for my own use, it was not given to me to review. A very lightweight shooting platform that is very stable in both tripod and bipod forms. It is a very good value. Happy I bought it and would recommend to friends for sure. Pros: - Variety of applications. - Really stable for the weight. - Adjustable from sitting level to standing levels. Can be set up low to ground as a tripod for back against the tree turkey calling. Nice height for me. - Flexible configuration - third leg unthreads and provides a monopod that is very lightweight. - No single button deployment. Simple design. - In tripod form, would be a great stand for rifle caliber hunting pistols. - less expensive than any other pod with as many features. I like to use it as a bipod, leaving the third leg attached but short so that I can rest it back down on the third leg while I cock and load. I can then rest a gun in the cradle, push it forward and it's on the bipod. Cons: - Screw base is not articulated in any way. If your application requires some articulation (spotting scope, camera, chrono) you could use a ball mount. - http://amzn.com/B000L47AHG looks like a good one or for under $10 - http://amzn.com/B00C3DY73S - no single button deployment for very fast setup. - Strap has adjustment buckle, but limited range. - adding a swivel clip to the webbing strap would increases the flexibility by allowing the bipod legs to be spread out wider. - Feet are rubber without a cleat point. This is a really nice product! As good as some costing as much as double the price. Easy to use but I strongly suggest adding a lanyard to the rest since it does come off easy and could easily get lost while walking around. Being able to convert from monopod, to bipod, to tripod with relative ease is a great feature once you figure it out. You'll have to spend a great deal more for that elsewhere. It is a bit heavy when all together but that also means it's not a flimsy piece of junk like some. In tripod configuration it's definitely not a walking stick. Leg adjustments are easy and secure. A big improvement over the previous mode,l I understand, which you had to twist to adjust. Just flip a lever, slide the leg where you want it and flip back to lock. Unlimited adjustment from fully retracted to fully extended with all three legs. Great for uneven terrain. The legs are like good camera tripod legs which, by the way, camera tripod is also a great use for this device. Now if they would make a binocular rest for it, it would be even better. Read more

I would give this a 5 but I only have one issue. The swivel is a bit too sensitive. It made it a bit hard to stay steady but I made it work. For the price it is great. Other than that it works great and did the job! Allows for a more accurate and clean shot every time. I have recommended it to a few friends already. I was shooting a 300 win mag and it helped control the kick a lot. The height adjustments came in handy for different locations. One thing I’d recommend is maybe a Velcro strap to go over just so it can sit on the mount without holding it. Read more

This is a light weight but solid, good quality, shooting stick. I like the versatility of being able to use it as a bi-pod or a tripod. I researched a number of shooting sticks before I finally settled on this one. A lot of them that I looked at just seemed too flimsy. You can certainly find cheaper priced ones out there, but the worst place to have equipment failure is in the field. I am at the point of buying quality hunting gear one time, sort of "buy once-cry once" type of thing. This filled the bill. Read more

Pros: solid, removable forearm rest, adjustable legs, lightweight. Cons: Can be rickety on uneven ground. Needs weight to be stable. No way to lock legs from opening up. If you are over 5' 6" tall, and want to use a long gun in it, you will have to bend over to use it at it's highest extension. I am 6' and it doesn't work in that application. Read more
