I ordered two different sets of shirt stays before these; one that clipped onto my socks, and one that wrapped circumferentially around my leg. For both of those, they either lose placement or the clips wouldn't hold. The one pair didn't even last two minutes, and I paid 3x as much for them as I did for these. This clasp style can be sort of difficult to get on thicker materials, and in general, it will take a little more time to put them on than the quick clips from my other sets, but it's definitely worth it. It doesn't pull at my leg hair, give me brush burns from rubbing back and forth, and most importantly, they hold tight and never lose its grip on my shirt and socks. These are amazing and work, but there is one problem. I’m really weak. And the mechanism with the rubber is very strong. If you’re stronger than a teenage girl, you’ll be ok.
