We got this for our 2 year old and wish we had found it sooner. After his first eczema outbreak a year ago we became believers in vanicream as a moisturizer but continued to use another gentle soap from another company just as reputable. However, after using this we have noticed reduced flares. This product is just as effective as the traditional vanicream in skin protection. Since it is foaming it does not build a good lather in a washcloth, but lathers on the skin well. There is virtually no scent, which is important for kids with eczema, and seems to work as well or better than any comparable soap. Working our way through the bottle so will see how long it lasts. Love this stuff for my 7 week old girl. She had really dry skin that was hard to get a handle on, pediatrician told me to use lotion but nothing seemed to work best. Well I just needed to switch away from grocery store baby shampoos/washes and use Vanicream! This with Mustela wash (also on Amazon) completely made her bumpy, flaky dry skin issues go away. Clean make up well, not irritated to sensitive skin, ingredients are good but make your skin dry even with foam. Unscented is good for who wants to avoid perfume. I have not used it on baby. Read more
