We bought these chair slip covers for the theatre chairs in our basement since our kids have destroyed them over the 10+ years. Our pools leads into the basement and the kids and their friends tend to sit on the lounges in their wet bathing suits as well as climb all over of them causing them to wear badly over the years. Besides their appearance, the chairs are still comfortable and work well mechanically so we didn’t want to replace them. The off white couch recliner and chair recliner covers look so nice. However, it takes some effort on the buyer's part to make adjustments and to get the covers to fit. That was my situation. The reason I gave the review a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 was because I had to sew and pin the cover for an almost perfect fit. I now have a nicer looking couch and chair after my cat scratched at it for years. It's a really smart product. If you have some ingenuity, you can make these covers work for your space! Read more

We got our recliner from Ashley’s Furniture Store a decade ago. The fake leather started peeling and making a mess and we moved and changed our living room aesthetic so we were in need of a recliner cover. I looked at a bunch of the ones on here and am always iffy about the reviews. Our recliner is also kind of fat so I was worried about the fit, but surprisingly this one fits great. It comes in 3 pieces for each arm and the middle/recliner section. It was extremely easy to slip on. Nothing is popping off. It’s a cover so I was expecting a few wrinkles but they really don’t look that bad or obvious in my opinion. My kids thought we had bought a whole new chair. As you can see in one of the pics, the bottom of the back does not get covered so your old chair color will show there, but we have ours backed to a wall - and even if it wasn’t backed to a wall I don’t think it’d bother me all that much. My chair does not have the long stick recliner-pull, it has a little circle thing you pull to extend the recline. There’s no hole in the cover for that part but you could easily cut a tiny slit for a stick if you needed to. Since ours is a circle we just pull it through the cover and it still works fine. People who don’t know where the pull is will just have to be told. I tried to take a shot from all angles for other potential buyers. I think you’ve found the one though :) def recommend it. I have tried many different slip covers for this recliner. Most I sent back. However, one I had for about a year, but I didn’t love it. It was so tight that it changed the comfort of the chair. I got a really good deal on this La-Z-Boy recliner, because of the wild animal print. That print did not go with anything in my house, but I knew I could put a slipcover on it. I FINALLY found this slipcover! It allows the comfort of my chair to remain the same, while providing a nice comfortable material that looks good in my home. It is not so tight that it changes the feel of the recliner itself, but instead adds a great feeling fabric with a nice pattern. I’ve had many slipcovers over the years for a variety of chairs, and this one is by far the best quality. The only thing I would change is if there is a hole inside the pocket for the handle, it also needs to be on the pocket itself, so that the handle can stick out completely. Otherwise, a long handle distorts the shape of the pocket. I did have to make a hole on the outside of the pocket so my handle could go all the way through. No big deal. It’s hardly noticeable and the look of the slipcover far outweighs that problem. Read more
