I’m using these less than full weights to help with improved movements walking. The individual cells holds 1/2# each. I can tailor to my needs as I improve. These will be a pain to put back in, but wearing them for a few weeks I already see improvement- so it’s worth it. Each band weighs about 7#. I’ve removed 3 small cells of sand on each to start with. Purchased the safety orange color just so I could find them quick. Worth the cost- fairly well made & I don’t expect them to break or tear. Material is like a softer neoprene type. Read more
I was in the hospital and then rehab for a few weeks. At rehab, they used ankle weights to improve my hips and walking strength. Instead of shopping around, i searched on Amazon and found this pair. Inexpensive, connects with velcro, easy to put on and take off. They are very similar to the medical models. The fit is easily adjusted and they are comfortable. The low weight is best for rehab.
