A Wise Choice
I quite like this elevated dog bed. It was not hard to put together and all the pieces fit. My Shih Tzus like to sit and lay down on it. I think it will be comfortable for the dogs for a long time. I bought it because I am getting a Doberman. I know that the new dog will enjoy it, too.There is no smell to it. It feels nice to the touch and looks nice, too. I am happy with my purchase. Not for destructive dogs
I have 2 labs and a padderdale, they have destroyed every bed I have given them. So I thought I would give this a try. I purchased the extra large, the bed itself was very nice. The material is breathable and strong. The fram is also nice and sturdy but it is a bit of a job to put the last bar in because it fits so snug. Both of my labs could lay in one bed and it held up to their weight with no problem. However, it could not hold up to the power of destructive pups. After day 3 they got bored and shredded the hammock itself. The fram remained intact. My padderdale still uses his. He is separated from the other 2 when we're not home, he's a very bad influence on his little brothers. I did order a replacement hammock but have yet to give it to them in hopes the will grow out of their destructive stage. All and all, it is a really nice bed, but definitely can't hold up to determined chewers. Read more

The quality seems great. I hope it lasts long. I had to bang it into place on the last leg and it already tore the fabric by me doing that but I didn’t see the “frequently returned item” until after I ordered it, but I made it work! 😅 Read more

Comfortable for dog and human.
I use it outside. My dog thinks he is in heaven. If he could, he would spend all night and all day on it. He is 100 lb lab crossed with shepherd and has a long body, and long legs, so when he stretches out he covers the entire bed. But when he curls up he only uses half of it. He uses the ends as a pillow for his head. I am 5'5" and if I curl up I can use it as a bed. It is comfortable (I tried it out), holds up well, and the dog loves it. It took two people to set it up, due to its size and the tension after cloth was on it. In a heavy rain storm water will pool in the middle. It is light enough to shake the water off, or any debri that falls on it. I use a hose to rinse it when dirty. The quality is very good, with the fabric not wearing out. Read more
