I was a bit nervous about trying a new shampoo since my fur baby is still young and has very sensitive skin, but I’m so glad I found this. We had zero issues -no irritation or itching at all. The formula feels incredibly gentle and high-quality. The standout feature is definitely the scent. It has a very sophisticated, woodsy vibe that reminds me of a high-end Santal perfume. I really like the pump bottle that this dog shampoo comes in! Its flat, rectangular base and large dispenser made it easy to use while wrangling a soaking wet dog. The smell is nice, but is definitely very strong. I'd say the scent lasted about a week, but while I had my dog in the shower, it was admittedly a little overpowering and I feel like my dog was perhaps a bit more sensitive to the smell than she has been to the shampoo I traditionally use for her. I did not notice any skin irritation after use, and she was quite soft after she was all dried off. If you have a dog with sensitive or dry skin, I would recommend this for occasional, rather than regular use, as some of the ingredients might be a bit too harsh. Read more

I’m obsessed with this shampoo. Seriously, the scent is noticeable but subtle, and it definitely lasts—it’s not that cheap, artificial smell that gives you a headache. I’m a health coach with a big focus on holistic living, so I’ll be honest—I’m a bit torn on this shampoo. On one hand, the "user experience" is probably the best I’ve had during bath time. If you’ve ever tried to wrestle a wet dog while fumbling with a bottle, you’ll appreciate that the large container actually stays upright and lets you pump soap with just one hand. It lathers up beautifully and—thankfully—rinses out without a fight. Plus, it actually made my dog's coat extra curly and cute! The scent is the real standout. Despite the name "Blush Garden," it’s not flowery at all. It’s more of a rustic, woodsy pine smell that I really liked, and it actually stuck around for 4 or 5 days, which is almost unheard of with dog soaps. However, my "holistic" side has some reservations. Looking at the back of the bottle, there are some surfactants and synthetic fragrances that are a little concerning. It works great, but it might be a bit harsh if your pup is already prone to itchy or dry skin. The bottom line: If your dog has "tough" skin and you want them to smell like a luxury spa for a week, you’ll love this. But if your pup is sensitive or you’re really strict about 100% clean ingredients, you might want to stick to something a bit more basic and botanical.
