Until I retired I used to collect briefcases. Now at 70, and still very active, I collect beautifully designed high quality bags that travel the world with me. I have my share of designer high end bags that I purchased primarily for the style, and looks that no one else carried. I prefer not to see myself walking by on a busy street. Most importantly I collect superior leather quality, and tough materials that i can count on for years...just like this bag. Velez, is an excellent quality maker that show up in high end stores in Colombia (where I believe they are made). In fact ,I have seen a lot of their merchandise in Central and South America. I believe they also make men's shoes. I waited a year or more to write a review because everything looks great on day 1, and why would you trust someone to speak on long term quality when they just tossed out the rapping paper. This bag has traveled a lot this year, and I am glad I took the time to protect the leather. I live mostly in Florida, where downpours can happen when least expected. The bag has stood up to every drag, toss, and collision you can think of. I am no princess with my things, for better or worse. I even carried this bag a few times on horseback. Last year we had 2 hurricanes, and this bag was a champ. As I have been writing this review, I sat the bag before me. It has definitely been broken in, but nothing has ripped, torn, or broken. I love the way this bag has aged. It shows great character, with no worse for wear. After all, isn't that why we purchase leather. This is not throw away plastic or vinyl. So called designer bags these days are treated like they have yet to see the sun. The Velez, manages to grow old with grace. Nothing looks better than great quality leather that stands up to life and ages better. IMO, don't think twice about this bag, it's a great buy. Read more

This bag is great for hauling tablets or a small laptop. It has 3 outer pockets - 2 in the front and one in the back. One of the outer pockets looks like it's designed for a phone but it's a bit small for most phones. Inside there is one zippered pocket and a laptop/tablet sleave. The main compartment is zippered, as well. The lining is made of a very nice green fabric that feels quality. The outer is actual leather but you should condition it with a good leather conditioner to protect it from any stains. Absolutely love everything about this product. Quality of the leather and stitching is very exceptional. Color is very nice. The bag liner is nicely done and will not come out easily. Size fits my laptop or gaming device plus charger and note books. Packaging feel premium and was secured. My only complaint was the little strap likes to stick up and I am not sure how to fix it. Regardless I would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for smaller designer leather bags. Read more
