Gorgeous pants!
These pants are glorious. I'm a big fan of silk/rayon velvet, and this fabric is thick and plush, with the softness and flowing drape you'd expect from this kind of velvet. I sized up to ensure I'd have plenty of hip room, both for a more oversized fit and to make sure I wouldn't strain the non-stretch fabric when sitting; I normally wear medium or large (29" natural waist, 41" hips at fullest, 5'5"/140), and bought the XL. While the waistband is a little big on me, I love the spaciousness in the hips and legs, and I can easily tighten the waistband a bit. The inseam is long for me - and oddly wasn't noted anywhere on the product page - so I'll need to wear them with a heel, or else cinch or shorten them a little, but my inseam measurement is only 29", so I'm used to pants being a bit long. The Cavern color is beautiful, and pretty true to the image - maybe just a little more blue/gray, like a very dark dusty teal-green. As for the style, it might be due to sizing up, but they fit me like a true palazzo pant, with flowing, roomy legs that gradually widen a bit more as they approach the ankle. I also like the way the hip pocket openings, and the side seams they're located on, are placed toward the front of the hips rather than right on the sides, which gives more space for reaching into them as well as a smoother silhouette. The pockets themselves are fairly large too, and lined in a nice twill-weave viscose fabric (listed as "contrast" on the care tag).
