I am 5'1" and around 118 lbs so I'm usually a 4-6 in pants so that's what I ordered but apparently that is a small. Oops! I was thinking it was a more medium size but that's my bad. I am kind of a pear shape body type so my upper half is small and my lower half is medium so its hard getting clothing sets when I can't try them on first. The top fits perfectly not too loose and not tight at all but the shorts are a bit snug. Luckily my booty is NOT hanging out the back like with most sleep shorts and and they don't give me a wedgie (or a front wedgie lol) so I will be keeping them. Hopefully since they are polyester they won't shrink in the wash :) And hey maybe it will help motivate me to do those leg workouts lol If you're like me, go ahead and size up, the ties are nice and long so if they're a little big you can easily tighten it. (EDIT: the ELASTIC in the shorts shrank SO much after only 2 washes that I can no longer wear them. They now fit my skinny little 8 year old 😂 I probably could have just taken out the elastic but these were well made so it’s sewn in all nice and neat and I didn’t want to have to undo all those stitches. Great set of pajamas for a good price. The size is true but I would order a size up if you are in the middle of the size for comfort. The shorts were a little too short with the XS and fit perfectly as a S. She wears a 2 to 4 depending on the brand. We did order another set and plan to do another when we need an extra set.
