The ties are very long, i had to loop around above my knee twice to get them secured. They can get a bit slouchy if not tied up right, and could be loose on someone with thinner calves or thighs. Love these shoes! I was ecstatic when they came in and once I tried them on. They fit perfectly of the knees and the material allows me to pull it up. As most over the knee shoes, I have trouble keeping them up. It has a nice cushion on the inside but I did add my own after a few uses. Highly recommend getting these!!!
