Vera Bradley Womens Cotton All in One Crossbody Purse With RFID Protection

I was looking for a wallet type of crossbody that could also work as a stand-alone wallet if needed. This checked all the marks. I just received the product but so far I like it. It fits plenty of credit cards etc. My phone (Samsung a12) fits snuggly but fits, can take, and put in with ease. It has another "coin" compartment which I used for my house keys and it does fit my clip-on sunglasses and a lip balm snuggly too. I purchased the print Butterfly By and it's super cute, love the color and pattern. It has a small zippered compartment in the back as well which fits something tiny, in my case I put a small hand sanitizer there. With everything in, it looks a bit bulky but works. I plan on using it with the crossbody as an everyday go-to bag and then as needed, as a wallet I can throw into a bigger bag. Also, it has the wristlet, which I just took off for now, since I don't have use for it, so basically 3 in 1 little bag. Very well made, I suppose it could be a bit bigger with a bit more room but still a very nice little bag/wallet. Large phones likely don't fit. But still 5 stars from me. Read more

I have had the same wallet for about 8 years. It is tattered and worn and I needed a new one. I've been search for about 2 of those last 8 years. I've been everywhere looking at everything. But I'm very particular. I want it to have enough pockets I can keep my money, and then my hidden money, and then the money my husband doesn't know I have when I want more money. I also want it to hold my cards safely. I want a zippered coin pocket. I want a back pocket. to stash things in. These were my requirements - nay my demands of a new wallet were I to rid myself of the 8 year old wallet that while it served me well deserved a retirement. Sadly my search was in vain as I never found this miraculous mystery wallet of my dreams. Until one day... I work in a school library and one of the teenagers came in with the cutest wallet/purse ever. I asked her where she got it. Too far away some random store my dreams were dashed. Then she said "it's a Vera Bradley". Well hot dog! That's all I needed to know. I knew I could avoid a road trip to some random overpriced boutique in the middle of nowhere Texas and instead pick out the perfect one for me from the comfort of my bed with Amazon. And that is just what I did. Found it. Found it for a great price. Bought it. Sat on my street's curb for 24 hours straight to avoid someone recognizing the size and shape of the Amazon box as a vessel for this hidden treasure and try to steal it from my porch. Delivery man came with what I swear were the faint sound of trumpets in the distance and handed me my package. I opened it and it was as though light and magic both rushed forth from the box as I unwrapped it to not only find all the things on my check list just as I wanted but also an outside pocket big enough to hold my iphone. Yes that was angels singing you heard. And then the straps I can wear it as a cross body, over the shoulder or a sassy little wrist strap if I'm feeling daring. Oh and did I mention it's RFID? Instant thwarting for those wiley knaves that may wish to impersonate my identity - as though that were possible! Not with VB protecting me with mystical RFID powers. This is the purse I’ve been waiting for. Seriously, there isn’t a single thing I dislike, although I’m kind of wishing I’d gone for the amethyst plaid pattern instead, but that’s on me, not the purse. Maybe I’ll buy another one, I love it that much. So, first, this little purse holds a surprising amount of stuff. In the front magnetic pocket, I’ve got my iPhone 14 Pro, in its case. There’s room to spare, but I’m not sure the Pro Max would fit. If it would, it would be a squeeze I think. In the front zipper compartment, where most of the card slots are, I’ve got my ID with my insurance card behind it, and the 3 slots above that are just right for my kids’ insurance cards. I have 5 debit/credit cards in total, so the other side of the wallet compartment is perfect for that. In the first slip pocket behind the ID window, I’ve got all our covid vaccine cards. Behind that, I’ve got a signature guide because I’m blind and can’t sign my name in a straight line to save my life. I don’t have anything in the slip pockets behind the side with my bank cards, and I never carry cash so I don’t have anything in that compartment either. In the other large zipper compartment, there are 2 more card slots, and I’ve got a couple gift cards in those. Also in that compartment, I’ve got a tube of lip balm and my Air Pods case. And finally, in the back zipper pocket, I have my keys and a couple migraine pills. It literally holds everything I need, and on the rare occasion when I need to use a bigger purse, I can just take off the cross body strap and throw this whole thing in there without worrying I’ve forgotten something. It’s made well, the fabric feels sturdy and so do the zippers and pulls. I love that I can take everything out and throw the purse in a laundry bag and wash it. Have I mentioned yet that I love it? I realized when I organized this wallet, that it is lighter filled than my smaller leather wallet. I wondered why my purse felt less cumbersome. It is large but a welcome change to hold all of my wallet content and with space left over. I can use it solo as a small purse too.
