Just purchased this skirt and let me tell you it is SO SOFT. Kinda long in the front for me so I plan to hem it (I’m 5’5” about 145lb), got the large and it fits well. Maybe a tiny bit of room in the waist but not enough that it moves around or anything. I will say, the slits are very high and open so just be warned. Also going down stairs is interesting since it pulls the whole back of the skirt away so definitely plan what you’re wearing underneath haha! If there are stairs involved or wind, you’ve been warned! Absolutely love this skirt. With how the back panels are attached to the front the front panel definitely covers everything in front. But you will be showing a LOT of leg. All that being said. Such a fabulous skirt and flattering. Very soft, Fabric is a little thin but honestly I will be getting it in other colors! I bought this to wear as an everyday informal or formal type skirt. This will definitely not work for that. It is see through & very thin material. It will work as a swimsuit cover up, but I definitely couldn't wear this all the time. Maybe to a dimly lit bar lol! Also, I didn't realize by looking at the picture but the slits go all the way up to the top of the skirt, to the waistband. The pros of this skirt is it's soft, and it does cover my butt and my front. The fabric peices are large enough that my body stays covered even if I move or squat. It does show the whole thigh however. It fits well. I ordered an XL. I suppose this could be altered to show less thigh and some kind of fabric layered underneath to cover the underwear area although I'm not sure how well the fabric would hold up to being sewn since it's so thin. I'm about 238lbs and 5'6" I was worried it would be too long after reading through reviews, but even without platforms the length is perfect! The XL is a scosh snug in the waistband, but otherwise I think the size fits really well. The slit does go super high, so you'll need to pin them closed or wear something under to prevent underwear peaking through. All and all I really love them! Read more

First off, I want to express that I am a SHORT girl. I knew in advanced that this skirt would be too long for me, and I would have to get it altered to be slightly shorter. I am 4'9," so for all of you ladies who are under 5ft like me, this is how the skirt will look on you when you get it, and you wear heels with it. I love everything about this skirt even though I have not gotten it altered yet to fit me better. It is super comfortable, lightweight, covers all the necessary spots, and sexy side slits! I purchased this skirt in both black and burgundy. So far it does not seem like it shows any kind of sheerness.
