Here's the resumé part so you know I'm not a newbie. I've been smoking cigars for 20 years. My preference is Nicaraguan, although pretty much anything maduro that is 46 or higher guage I'll go for. I've used the single burner "micro-torch", the quad burner, and these tri burners. In a pinch also the kitchen stove has worked wonders. These lighters work forever. They're not cheap plastic that come apart like the "100 cigarette lighters for $15" deals. They last. They take a charge quickly... no need to constantly untilt, empty air, refill, etc. They also deliver flame at a uniform height so they toast the cigar equally. Mike's Cigars' lighters had fuel in them... a rarity! Usually they come empty, have to be filled first, and since there are three of them, that will eat you out of a portion of a can of butane before you even start. They come in a nice black pouch. I'm not sure what it's made of (and it doesn't matter) but it sure is nice that I don't have to let the lighter bake in the hot Arizona sun. Now it can be protected from the heat/light/UV. Last thing: It comes with a $100 voucher to any $160 order from nakedwines.com. "Money back if you are not totally tantalized." Could not be happier with my purchase! I bought 4 different kinds of torch lights so was apprehensive to try again but I’m glad I did! Easy to refill as you can see what your putting in! The other 4 types of lighters I got were the same price for 1 and once they ran out of fuel they never worked again! I thought it was the fuel I had, NOPE, it was the piece of crap torch lighters I had bought! If you’ve had torch lighters not work as I just described try these I’ve been refilling these 3 lighters and rotating them through for about a year or so now! When you want to refill turn all the way down, push the little circle in the center on the bottom down while holding the light vertical upside down, hold that circle down until you don’t hear the hissing sound anymore, AT ALL, if it’s still a little faint hold it down until it stops, then grab your fuel flip vertical on top of vertical upside down lighter and push down for about 3-5 seconds, it’s quick! You can also see it fill on the side through the gray transparent plastic. Turn the lighter back up to high or a little less and then wait 3-5 min for gases to settle and it should work perfectly! The lighter doesn’t work well if it is not turned all the way high just FYI, but still works and worth the money! I bought this pack of three, 3-flame cigar lighters back in 2020 after a *single* $14.99 lighter I bought on Amazon became unusable after only about 38-ish days. I use lighters like this for various projects like paracord weaving, sewing, and art. I was extremely pleased with these. Good heat, easy to use, and refilling, while the most "difficult" thing about using these lighters, is still twenty-times easier than any other brand I used previous to their purchase. As of today, September 6th, 2025 I have one left that I am using. Still works perfectly *FIVE* years later. I can not use the other two...but only because I misplaced them about two weeks ago. All three lighters are in perfect working order half a decade later. My only issue: Money is tight, but I have to purchase this 3-pack again today to take on a large project that can not wait. I have to say, we bought these for a bit of a multi use item. First off, I smoke cigars and mini cigars, and these work great, much better than your gas station bic lighter. A slight amount of wind or something, and I always had problems with those things. This lighter stands up to a fair amount of wind (haven't actually had it blow out cause of wind yet). We also bought it for our emergency kits. It was for a "short term" emergency kit, and just wanted something we could easily light a fire or candle or something. This fit the bill pretty well. It also gets used as a grill lighter, wood stove lighter, and all kinds of odd jobs around the house. I use these to light my cigars. They work for quite awhile before dying. I prefer the 3 torch to the 4. They are easy to fill easy to use. My only complaint would be that the lid has to be lifted up instead of a latching mechanism, but then again at least that part won't fail. Read more
