I still am not exactly sure what to make of these odd little booties, but I love them. They are my "frankenstein" boots that look as if they've been cobbled out of two different pairs of shoes. I don't know exactly what possessed the designer to tack the toe of a completely different kind of shoe onto the body of this boot, but it doesn't pay to worry too much about this: just have fun wearing them, because I guarantee you'll be the only one wearing them anywhere you go. The style is unique, but also trendy and fun; I've worn these so far with pleather joggers and a cable-knit dress and thought I'd looked pretty darn good. They run a tiny bit small, but that just means you might need to skip the thick socks - or else order a half-size up. For looking like some kind of strange experiment from the atelier of one of the more outre European high-end designers, they are surprisingly affordable and extremely comfortable: the kitten heel makes them eminently wearable, and the inside zip means you won't have to struggle with pulling these on before you've had your coffee. And while the quality is probably average, the compliments (and confused stares) you'll get from strangers every time you wear these makes them worth their weight in gold. It's thumbs up from me. I receive compliments on these boots almost every time I wear them. They are so cute! Probably more importantly, though, they are very comfortable. I am not one to wear heels (even short ones like these), but the heels are wide enough that they don’t cause me any discomfort. The sole are decently cushioned and the material inside (and out) is soft. The bottoms of the boots are textured, so you don’t have to worry about slipping when you walk. Just be sure to peel the sticker off the bottom when you first wear them— there was a note in the box of mine telling me to do so, but the sticker is so thin I thought it was already gone. I ended up noticing the sticker was starting to peel the second time I wore these, and the bottoms were a lot more grippy once I removed the sticker. As far as sizing goes, I normally wear either a 7.5 or 8. I ordered these in an 8, and they fit perfectly. When I measured my foot and checked the size chart on the product listing, I was getting a really odd size that definitely would not have fit me had I ordered it. Just be mindful of that. I think the price is fair for the quality of the boots. I wear them often and they are holding up very well with few signs of wear. I definitely recommend these! Read more
