These are truly functional pants! Belt loops are heavily reinforced and seem like they'll stand up to pressure. Plenty of pockets - the interior ones are made of mesh rather than solid fabric, I'm assuming to keep bulk and heat to a minimum. The material has a little give to it but not nearly as much as leggings so I think they'll hold their shape. There's less give in the waist area, probably because of all the stitching and reinforcement. The rise is in the mid-to-lower range - my torso is on the shorter side, and the waistband falls an inch below my belly button, a very comfortable spot. One of the best things about these pants is that they don't look overtly tactical - like, they're actually cute! Really cute! Definitely a slimmer fit. The description says the cuffs are "boot friendly" - I'm not sure exactly what they meant by that because the leg opening isn't wide enough to fit over the tops of my work or hiking boots but maybe would work differently with duty boots. I love that they offer inseam options too. Inseam measurements seem to run true. The sizing seems to run a little small: I usually wear a size 10 in both Levi's and Democracy, and ordered both a size 10 and 12 in these to test them out. There was no hope of buttoning the size 10, and the size 12 is pretty snug. I'll hang onto the 12s for when I shed a little more winter weight. Overall, great pants! I really love the layout of the pockets on these pants, but the fit was a bit of a struggle. I ordered my usual size and it was WAY too tight at the hips and waist. The next size up was barely any looser. Then the next size after that was really big at the waist. So ultimately, I wound up going two sizes up and having to wear a belt with it (which I don’t normally, hips make a good waistband hook). I kept them just because they’re so comfy and the pockets are so good, but I’d love to see them sizing reworked on these. Read more

I love these pants. They are so comfortable, the pockets are great. The side pockets easily kept my cell phone secure what taking the ATV on the trails. Very easy to move in them while hiking. Wish there were more color options because I would get multiple pairs of various colors. Read more
