I visit elementary schools showing 4th & 5th graders books they might like to read, and I have a couple of books about sloths. This item is about the size of a baby 3 toed sloth, and it looks amazingly like the photo of a real baby sloth in "Destiny Finds Her Way". I take it with me to show kids some of the things in the books about sloths, and it's a terrific prop. I do wish the feet were a bit more realistic looking, but as this is likely often bought as a gift for kids, I understand why they're soft. Read more

This was a very cute sloth stuffed animal. The fur is pretty soft, but the arms are rather stiff. This can be resolved by kneading the arms to better redistribute the stuffing and break it up a bit so they aren't so firm. Either way the kid it was given to really loves it. There is velcro on the arms which can be a bit scratchy, but we left the little fabric bit that came with it on the patches and it's not as noticeable. I'd buy it again for the face and coloring, but it could do without the velcro. Read more
