The best wound care spray I have found for my pup!

MCFebruary 27, 2026✓ Verified purchase

This product is amazing!!! My pup had bad hotspots on his legs that he just would not stop licking, preventing the sores from healing. I bought this and after faithfully using it for a couple months the sores healed! I know they would have healed a lot sooner but my pup had a hard time not licking. I used this wound care again when he had a bad itchy ear that he scratched sores in, making it worse. I saturated a cotton ball with the spray and used that to get into the ear several times and oh my gosh, it has helped tremendously. I highly recommend this wound care spray. It is so effective. Bought a second bottle to have on hand after this one runs out. So happy I found this! It has helped my boy so much! Read more

Vet Approved!

Really great wound flush, perfect for cleaning out wounds however I do wish the spray mechanism was different. The ingredients in this spray are animal safe I brought the bottle to the vet when taking my dog in for a check up to his wound. The vets said his wound was not infected and healing great with the spray. They approved every ingredient and said it is a wonderful product to continue using. The spray does not sting or burn and you can use on deeper wounds. It does soothe itching around the area and keeps infections out if used right away. If you order after a wound has taken place I recommend using watered down rubbing alcohol to disinfect until the bottle comes in! The only downside to this product is the spray mechanism it comes out fast and strong impact to the wound and the spray sound does scare the animal. It doesn’t hurt them but it comes out cold and the spray sound scares the dog I found out when I rode a paper towel after using the spray and my dog having his eyes closed he jumped thinking I sprayed his ear from the same noise. I would buy a pour attachment with this product or a silicone pour applicator to flush out the wound a little easier and without scaring your animal! The attachment will also save you more of the product! Read more

This stuff is amazing! My dog was cut at the groomers and I decided to buy this after a few days of not getting any better and in just two days I saw a difference in the cut. I highly recommend this product and to just keep one on hand. We’re on day four it’s almost closed and healing so well. Read more

Good choice

Our foster pup came to us with a nasty paw wound. She completed her antibiotics but it was still a lingering wound in a rough spot. I used this several times and saw improvement quickly. She was very challenging to use the spray. To be fair, I’m not sure if the spray sound was terrifying to her or if it stung but it became a two person job to administer. Regardless, healing achieved. Hard to say how much was the antibiotic completing its job vs the effectiveness of this product. But it was soon after using this we saw positive change. Read more

Chinchilla approved.

Em BeeOctober 11, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I bought this to treat a chinchilla that has persistent bumble foot. She has a big attitude. She won't tolerate soaks, she can't tolerate antibiotics. Nevertheless I still need a way to treat, especially in case of a bumble blowout which can be very bloody, and very painful. Those happen in small bursts usually and the foot tends to heal up well without much intervention, but she recently had a big, big bumble blowout, big wound left behind, big risk for infection. If you're a small animal owner like me you've probably heard the Internet insist that you use blu kote for situations like that, but blu kote isn't safe in case of ingestion, and moreover, it stains everything blue. So I went in search of an ultra safe, easy to apply solution and came across a reco for Vetericyn. I spritzed it on her wound for about 3-4 days and the blown bumble scabbed over and started to heal immediately. Two weeks later, there's no infection and no swelling, and it looks like a brand new foot, better than ever before. As un-luck would have it, the bumble brewing on her other foot just blew, and so we've got the Vetericyn on board again. I love that I can just spritz it on the wound quickly before she squiggles and then bribe her with food. The spray doesn't stink, it kind of just vaguely smells like saline. If it stank like bag balm or stung like blu kote she'd give me heck trying to put it on her but with this spray she just kind of sits there and doesn't mind me applying it. It's hypochlorous acid, which is something their bodies make anyway, and I don't have to worry if she licks the excess off which is key, because she absolutely will. She's a rodent. It's what they do. There is no such thing as a chinchilla cone. It heals ouchies fast, it's safe for the little guys, and so far it really seems to calm her bumble issue down, so I foresee us doing preventive weekly spritzes to try to fend this problem off for good. Vetericyn Wound Care Spray

Michele L. BrownFebruary 15, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Vetericyn Plus Wound Care Spray is amazing. My groomer recommended it to me. My dog had a scratch inside his ear. I sprayed it on a few times a day for a few days and the Vetericyn kept the scratch from getting infected and helped it heal. I also used it on my other dog who had some irritation on his belly. I totally recommend this product! Read more

Clears infected hair follicles, skin allergies and fungal infections

MarceeOctober 19, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Buy this ! I've bought this multiple times and wish I would've take a before and after picture of my pups. My dogs have really bad skin allergies, it's terrible. I've spent so much on allergy medication and allergy shampoos. I did research and bought this spray. My dogs had bumps all over their skin that would get infected. Chunks of hair would come off along with dry flaky skin. This spray has cleared their skin. Onyx's skin is clear of bumps and all of his fur has grown back. Luna is 80 % better. My son after seeing how relieved the dogs felt and how their skin is healing, she also bought it for her dog Rocco. Pitbulls have really bad skin issues but this is something I will always have available at home. This spray has no bad odor works and goes a long way. Please buy it now! You won't regret it :-) Read more
