So, this showed up and did not work out of the box. I had to take it apart because the motor was assembled incorrectly making it crooked. Once it got it in there straight it seems to work now. Hoping it will work for the foreseeable future. Read more

Sometimes you just don't know how easy something is until you actually TRY it, and making ice cream thanks to this VEVOR brand machine - is one of the biggest revelations I've had in recent years! After going on a keto/low carb diet, expensive food options that cater to that seemed like a nightmare due to the price. I eventually found better options but I had no idea that just making my own would be the way to go in the end! This VEVOR Ice Cream maker made it so very easy for me to learn and quickly make ice cream in which I could control EXACTLY what went into it! All I need is heavy whipping cream, milk, fruits, and whatever else I need in it - which I then blend up and throw into the bucket which had been left in the freezer overnight prior to that step. The bucket spins around in the AC-powered machine's base, and in less than an hour you have a good amount of authentic ice cream! The machine is unbelievably easy to clean, probably due to the greasy ingredients - but that ain't a bad thing. Probably the hardest part of using the machine is getting all the edible ice cream off of the stirring paddle when you remove it - but the fact that it is SO GOOD that I want every last drop of ice cream proves its deliciousness! I still can't believe how easy it is and this machine truly changed my life! For the $80-ish asking price - it gives far beyond the sum of its mechanical parts and smart design and easily qualifies as one of the best investments I've ever made. The controls are straightforward, and the whole process was simple from start to finish, even if you’re not used to making homemade ice cream. The capacity is a nice size and makes enough ice cream for multiple servings. The machine runs smoothly and does what it’s supposed to without a lot of effort or guesswork. This ice cream maker actually worked great for us at first—we were able to make all kinds of flavors without much trouble. The setup was simple enough, and once it was running, it did its job. But there are a couple of things that really took away from the experience. For one, there’s no timer, which feels like a big miss for something advertised as “automatic.” You can’t just set it and walk away; you have to babysit it the whole time. And the fact that you still have to freeze the bowl ahead of time is disappointing. With an electronic machine, I expected it to handle the freezing itself, or at least offer something more advanced than just spinning the mixture. Pretty good ice cream maker. You do need to freeze the bowl to use it-then you can make it on your counter. Super easy to use and its fairly priced. It works pretty quick and without a lot of loud noise. Seems to have a decent motor on it. Read more
