I am 5 ft 7 1/2 in tall and weigh about 155 lbs. Im in my 40s and wanted to add intensity to my walks. I got the 16 pound vest. Its great and makes me sweat. However, I probably should have done the 12 lb vest and worked my way up. I thought I'd be fine, but my neck and knees start to hurt if I wear the vest too long. So, to avoid pain, I wear it for the first half of a longer workout and then remove the vest. I'm hoping I'll be able to wear it for longer soon. That is nothing against the vest or how it is made. I got the 16lb (I’m 5’5” 125lbs) per the chart in the listing. It fits well, is pretty comfortable, and I love the attached pocket for cell phone, keys, air pods, chapstick, whatever. It really holds a lot! The only reason I give 4 stars is that I wish I could make it tighter. It’s ok to walk in but if I try to run it bounces a TON, and the only way to keep it in place is to physically hold it in place which is really annoying. Otherwise exactly as advertised. Read more

This vest is very heavy. If you’re not already working out, choose something liter. This helps burn more calories while walking but remember to wear supportive shoes for this amount of weight (women). I use it once or twice a week along with a body pump class. Read more

I’m enjoying this 20 pound weighted vest. I put it on during my walks on my walking pad and while doing squats. At first it felt a bit heavy on my shoulders but that was just for the first time wearing it. After that it was fine. I may be ordering the 30 pound soon one as well. Read more
