My most favorite pocket knife.
Over the years I have bought a number of this model Swiss Army Knife. The only reason I have had to replace them is because I loose them from time to time. These are my favorite pocket knives. They are well made and over the years they really have not gone up in price as much as other products I have bought. I will always have one. This particular model of knife holds a lot of memories for me. Read more

Basic black - the sophisticated knife
It is generally acknowledged that the Victorinox "Spartan" is the closest descendent of the original Swiss army "Officers Knife" of 1897 and it has consistently been a best seller amongst the range. At 91mm in body length and 26.5mm wide, the Spartan is a standard size for the brand and the 15mm thickness represents two levels of tools. The solidly constructed pocket knife weighs in at a comfortable 2.11oz/ 60g. In basic black - this knife has been a favourite item of Every Day Carry (EDC) and can regularly be found in the lists of essential tools. Stamped into the face on one side is the iconic Swiss shield of Victorinox to distinguish it from generic knives. The Spartan contains the following 9 tools/features: * Large blade * Small blade * Corkscrew * Combined can opener/small screwdriver * Combined bottle opener/screwdriver/wire stripper * Combined reamer, punch, sewing eye * Toothpick * Tweezers * Keyring Given the durability of the Swiss steel, the solid construction, the lifetime warrantee and longevity of the brand - I anticipate having this knife for the long haul. Excellent slipjoint pocketknife
Excellent quality, like almost all Victorinox knives.They sharpen easily, have a thin blade geometry that's great for everything from whittling and cutting carboard to slicing vegetables and opening packages. All tools have a near mirror finish. I've never seen one made in the last twenty years rust. There's a small hole for storing a straight pin near the corkscrew, which is useful. Fit and finish is crazy good for this price point and the camo scales look great. Read more
