Great floor mat. Be prepared to have two people to role this out. The mat is delivered wond up. Once the mat is laid out, it needs to be anchored for several hours to become flat. It is very durable, protects the carpet, and enables rolling chairs to role again. Read more
Excellent quality have used it for a few months and the edges have stayed in place, no rolling up or catching the chair. Recommend this for office or gaming stations. I checked under the floor and has not caused any damage to carpet. Nice sleek look. Great product for the price. Read more
Very sturdy, stays in place, does the job. I almost gave it 3 stars. The reason? It comes tightly rolled and of course one side has sharp cleats to grip into carpet. It is excessively difficult to unroll. Holy 💩 it took every ounce of energy and every heavy thing I could collect including a very heavy rolling mechanics tool cart, buckets of rocks, tables- you name it, I moved it in the room to weigh it down as I unrolled 3 of these monsters. This one was the largest of the three but even the next size down was very resistant to laying flat. Took a long time to inch it slowly open and moving all this heavy stuff to keep it from recoiling like a steel spring. Meanwhile, as it’s constructed correctly to stay in place, using sharp cleats on the underneath side, it’s not easily handled as the spikes are desperately trying to roll back into a hard coil. These should arrive in a flat box. Honestly ridiculous to coil this like a rug. It’s not anything like a carpet. I undid these alone. If two grown men are doing this job, perhaps it’s ok but lifting buckets filled with gravel as weights and big objects while fighting every inch of the way is never going to happen again here. If you have a giant harbor freight solid steel rolling tool box (like I have) and can use it on one corner while moving large buckets of rocks and enjoy spraining your back, these are actually really good! Just prepare for the floor show of pain and strain. Read more
While it looks nice because it's black and won't show marks or yellowing like clear mats, on carpet that's thicker than "office" carpeting (eg: regular home carpeting with pad underneath) the mat will sink in where the chair wheels are positioned. You can't roll around as easily in this case, but it's not a "dealbreaker". If I had to choose it all over again, I'd be careful to find a black mat that's "thicker" to avoid this, but that may only be possible by seeing it in a store or making sure it cannot roll up into a tube when shipped. Great mat that allows me to easily move in my office chair without any issues. This is great for carpet, not for use on hardwood, tile, vinyl plank, or other “flat” type of flooring. This also protects the carpet from the wheels/casters on the office chair so the carpet doesn’t get beat up rolling back and forth in the same small area. Read more
I purchased this chair mat less than 2 weeks ago and and under normal usage it is already starting to break and crack in the middle. Definitely don't reccommend buying this one. Read more
Looks great and my chair moves freely on the mat. The mat doesn't move under the chair due to the spikes on the underside. Comes rolled up so does require a bit of time to relax and lay completely flat. Might use a hair dryer to warm up the PVC to hasten the decurling. I would have preferred a flat box for shipping. Rating this a 2 because the wheels on this chair is absolute trash.. the wheels do not lock into place at all. Idk if my chair is defective because my wheels pop out from time to time .. the chair is cozy and roomy.. the wheels is what brings this rating down .. I might have to look for a better quality chair again Read more
