The only downside is MacOS doesn’t have the 4K resolution with scaling set up, only the 1080p is available and that is subsequently upscaled. I downloaded Better Display on my Mac to try to get HighDPI to work on the 4K resolution but to no avail. This is a new monitor so I’m sure support will come in time. The sound on the monitor is a little better than I expected, I highly recommend using the sRGB color mode for this monitor. With Better Display, I was able to control the sound and brightness of the monitor with my keyboard. So I’d highly recommend making your life a tad easier with that instead of manually adjusting those all the time (with the knob on the back of the monitor). I do wish this display had a little higher refresh rate but this is currently the best value for the money I’ve found and I’m very excited I took a risk on this product. Read more

I recently purchased this monitor as a second to sit next to my ViewSonic VP2756. I love the built-in ports, USB-C connectivity + charging (helpful as a Mac user), and stand is super adjustable. The color accuracy is phenomenal! But, I don't love the cool color temp, presets, or the settings navigation. The presets don't do much for me (sRGB is the only usable one for my needs) and the settings menu requires more work to navigate (compared to the VP2756). As a photo/video editor, it's more exhausting to stare at this screen for extended periods of time. For now I'm still using the older VP2756 as my primary screen and using this as a second with my music/shows/info sheets. I haven't found a combination of settings that I like enough to replace the older monitor. And, while the joystick is a nice improvement, finding the desired setting adjustments in the menu feels like a scavenger hunt. I'm disappointed that as the newer, more expensive model, this lost the plug and play ease of use. Read more

This 27" monitor has a great picture right out of the box but for some odd reason ViewSonic has no support for Mac owners. There are Windows downloads available but nothing for my M4 Mac. No firmware downloads and no ViewSonic display manager available for this model. The volume has to be adjusted manually through a joystick on the back of the screen, I didn't' know such lack of technology still existed. Mac owners beware, not MacOS friendly. You would think that a monitor of this expense and caliper would have some software available to run it. What a shame, I was going to match it with their 32" big brother, not anymore. Read more
