I git for my 26 year old son fir Christmas and thick he will love it simply for the scent but also for the fact it comes in small balm containers, which means he doesn't have e to pack around a bottle of cologne! Love the Sea Salt and Bourbon & Suede scents. Whiskey and Coffee is too sweet and coffee forward for me, and Palo Santo just isn't my favorite, lol. They're nice and strong at first, but they don't have much staying power, maybe a few hours. Great for the price point. Read more

First, let me start off by saying that I'm a big fan of Viking Revolution's beard balms and beard oils, which I have been buying for over 5 years. I especially like their cedar pine and sandalwood scents, although bay rum is also really nice. I had also once bought a 4-pack of their solid colognes containing cedar pine, sandalwood, vetiver, and clary sage scents. They were decent, although the scents didn't last that long and weren't as strong as their beard oils/balms. The idea of a solid cologne also appeals to me, as I travel a lot and they're easy to carry around. I get that they're a challenge to make and not many people make them. However, I was pretty disappointed with these scents. They're just... bad, for lack of a better way to describe them. I tried them out, but hated the way I smelled. Bourbon and swede smells like musty leather left in a basement - maybe some people like that, but not me. Sea salt smelled like sweat, and palo alto smelled like a cheap overly sweet scented candle. Coffee and whisky wasn't too bad, but it also smelled like a cheap and tacky cologne. I asked some people for their opinions and they didn't like how they smelled. Unfortunately, I couldn't use these and couldn't return them on time as I had to travel for a trip. Pros: Small tins that are easy to carry around. The scents on these ones do last long, compared to the previous pack I purchased. Great idea - I love solid colognes. I didn't find them overly greasy. Cons: I hated the scents.
