So for an inexpensive sleeping bag, It is a decent product overall. My wife and I camp in different ways through-out the year, sometimes hiking in, sometimes in the truck, sometimes by boat. We like to have lightweight gear no matter what. These bags are lightweight, and fairly compact, LARGE in size (I'm 6'1 and can freely move around in the zipped up bag, way bigger than I was expecting) and a decent weight for spring-summer-fall camping. I dont think its nearly warm enough for winter camping. The major downside is this. Most of it is constructed with single row stitching. While that's fine for a gently used item, sleeping bags see unexpected stresses and pulls pretty frequently, and double or zig zag stitching is important to prevent the thin materials from tearing free of the stitching. The compression bag is poorly designed. It has nylon webbing cross to act as the compressing force, however the buckles that the webbing straps adjust through, are simply stitched to the bottom of the bag with a single row of stitching. Meaning if you kneel on the bag and compress it, then pull on the straps (as the items video shows doing), you must be VERY careful not to try to further compress the bag by pulling on the straps, they will instantly and very easily tear free of the fabric, making that strap useless. This would be GREATLY improved by linking the buckles on the bottom of the bag together with a piece of webbing across from each other, so the pulling action of the straps is transfered into the much stronger straps, rather than thin fragile fabric and a tiny single row of stitches. It is not a premium priced product, so I don't expect premium product, however I felt the need to be honest about how this is made, so you can decide whether this grade of sleeping bag is right for your needs or not. I first tried the Villey mummy bag, and while I liked it I found it too restrictive. I tend to roll over a few times a night and the mummy bag was tight enough in the hips that I had trouble doing that without the whole bag rolling over with me (which is a problem since, like this one, the mummy bag has a hood). Despite being 6'5" and 250 lbs, I have no such trouble with this bag. I can roll over just fine and there's enough room for me lengthwise as well. The thing that surprised me is how warm this is. It feels less insulated than the mummy bag, so I wondered if it would hold up to cooler temperatures. In my experience so far, it has. I took it camping and one of the nights it got down to 42 degrees F inside where I was sleeping. I was not at all cold. Obviously everyone has different tolerances for temperature and I do tend to like it on the colder side, but I was impressed by how well this fairly thin and light sleeping bag kept me warm. Despite being a bit heavier, I think it actually packs up a little smaller than the mummy bag too. A nice bonus I wasn't expecting. I got one of these in blue and one in green, and while I think I might slightly prefer the blue, they both look great. You can't go wrong with either color option. Read more

I took this to ninja camp. It was fun, but it was Illinois in the late Summer. So I was toasty. I think it worked out great, though. The best part is the design, the second best part is the "hood." It could serve as a pillow and works great. I will say that the picture to me was a little deceiving because I thought it was going to be smaller, and it's very average, even though it's lightweight. It compressed sufficiently, however I expected something that could fit into a smaller bag. But that's not a problem in the end, it gave me good sleep and comfort. Read more
