Saw negative reviews regarding frame and yes it is plastic but resembles a more expensive golden finished wooden frame until one looks at the back of the frame. The colors are mostly neutrals. The wreath around the deer's neck adds just a splash of holiday tones that are rich, harmonious and very tasteful. It will look great in any room. So pleased with this purchase.
