The shorts are very light. Great allrounders for summer. They dry fast. It would make a good swim trunk, but it doesn't have an inner liner. For a good look you have to pull the short up to mid waist height (good it has a draw string). I love the zippered pockets for the beach, biking etc. Overall great for the price. Read more

I love the shorts. The problem is with the packaging. They tend to put the shorts in a tiny package which causes serious wrinkles. The instructions say do not iron. I have tried Wrinkle free sprays to remove them but it has not worked either. I did iron the shorts even though the instructions prohibit it. They look good but I would highly suggest new packaging. I bought these as a pair of lightweight, quick dry shorts for backpacking and travel. So far, I’m very pleased. I like that no belt is needed. They are light and take up little room in A pack. They are quick drying and can be washed or rinsed by hand if necessary. I love the zip pockets. I think they run fairly true to size, but based on the pair I received, I’d size up, not down if you are between sizes. I haven’t had them long enough to speak to long term wear, but I imagine their lightweight will come with a longevity trade off. Read more

I like that the material is loose and light. I like that the length hits right above the knee for this very short person. However, the pockets leave a lot to be desired. Only one leg has a lower cargo pocket and it’s barely deep enough to fit an iPhone 11 in. The slash pockets are too angled, which makes them basically a half pocket cut on the diagonal because they are super long on one side and super short on the other. There is also only one back pocket and the zipper is almost on my right hip. Even if I tie the drawstring, these shorts are going to be sliding down on one side or the other because there is no way to balance the weight in . the pockets. The pocket lining is also cheap mesh so your keyring is going to snag in the holes. I’m keeping the shorts because they are good enough for wearing to amusement parks and outdoor festivals, but if I was going wear them everyday, they would be going back. I hate it when I can’t balance the weight of my wallet and phone because I don’t have either two back pockets or two lower leg pockets. Read more
