The media could not be loaded. After getting into an accident in 2023, I knew I wanted a dashcam but kept putting it off because there were so many options and features that it felt overwhelming. I’m really glad I ended up choosing this one. It’s simple to use but still has the features I wanted, like showing my speed, without being overly complicated. The adhesive has been holding up fine so far, though I’ll see how it does over time. Right now, the wire is still hanging down while I wait for an adapter so I can run it more cleanly through my mirror. The video quality is okay, but it could be better—license plates are harder to read from farther away. Overall, it does what I need it to do and works well for its purpose. The video quality is great. It is a true 4k dashcam, unlike many cheap ones that are fake 4k and not even quality 2k. Not all dashcams are the same, and this one uses high-quality hardware. Many say this is an entry-level dash cam, but I prefer to say it's the best 4K single-channel dash cam! I liked it so much I ended up buying three for different cars. For it to record while parked, an HK6 hardwire kit is needed. Viofo recommends using their micro sd card or a Sandisk Max Endurance micro sd card. I am using Sandisk high-endurance 512gb cards and have no issues. I prefer a dashcam that doesn't mount with a suction cup because, over time, it starts to fall off the windshield. This one is very sleek and close to the glass and is attached with double-sided tape and comes with extras. It often goes on sale for $140. Customer support is great. I had an issue with the CPL filter, and they sent me a new one. They stand behind their product. Read more

I am using this camera as a rear facing camera in my truck. I have a different one for the front and inside. This VIOFO has a very good image quality and is much easier to download videos comparing to my front camera. Cell network connectivity would be nice to upload videos on a remote server in realtime. But I don't see this feature in all VIOFO cameras. Read more

My wife gave me this dash cam as a Christmas present. The quality of the camera is excellent and one feature I especially like is that the camera comes with a plastic piece that you affix to your windshield that is similar to a screen protector for your cell phone. You then affix the camera to the plastic piece. This is a great feature, as you can now relocate your camera at any time and not have to use a razor blade to detach the camera. Additionally, the camera came with a slide on polarized lens. I found this useful as well on very sunny days, especially when driving into the sun. My wife also got me a VIOFO 256GB Industrial Grade microSD Card to go along with it. That card supports Ultra HD 4K video recording and mates well with the camera. Read more
I chose this model over the VIOFO A329S although the latter has slightly better specs because I only wanted a front facing camera. I didn't want the hassle of trying to wire a rear facing camera. The clarity from the A119M is outstanding and all that I need. It was easy to install and it's smaller than I expected.
