Somewhat pricey, but very happy with the purchase. Installation was straightforward. The interface on the camera greatly simplified the configuration. The Viofo app installed and connected to the camera without incident. Overall, very satisfied. Video is really clear as is cabin audio. I've had literally no problems with the unit. It's been installed in my vehicle for about 3 months. I'd definitely recommend the two or three channel unit if you have the extra money to spend. Notes below. My wife purchased the 3-channel version, with a SanDisk memory card, but had some issues, which Viofo rectified in short order. It was related to the memory card, even though the SanDisk that she purchased was designed for high-performance video. As such, I made sure to purchase the Viofo-branded memory card and the bluetooth-connected button that allows for easier photos and video protection. I strongly recommend the optional hardware installation kit, that has connectors for various fuse block designs. It makes the installation much easier and you don't have to jury-rig connections. Love it. Was between this and a similar model from Vantrue. Ultimately went with this one for the better WiFi and lower profile on the windshield. Video quality is great! Install was easy, hardwired with HK6 wiring kit that allows for hybrid parking mode. Zero regrets with this purchase. App has bad ratings on the App Store but it works totally fine for me, nothing special but functional. One thing to note if hardwiring: this needs a VIOFO hardwiring kit to work correctly. I initially had a different brand installed and the camera stayed powered and wouldn’t switch into parking mode. Included front polarizer is a nice add on as well, cuts glare almost completely. This dash cam is excellent—and it should be because it's pricey. I keep seeing reviews every year for the best dashcam and STILL the Viofo's win out. Video quality is excellent. Haven't used WiFi much but it seems to be fine. The A329 has a lot of functionality. Installing the hardwire kit (HK6 sold separately) was easy. There's plenty of cable whether you're installing hardwired or using a cigarette lighter/12V power port. My ONLY complaint is that my headlights seem to blow out the tag of the car in front of me a night, but maybe if I used the HDR setting it might not. Unfortunately, I'd rather have 60fps as you're more likely to catch something not blurry and most of my driving is during the day. I have seen reviews where that's not an issue. I think it's just due to the angles of my headlights and where I have the camera mounted. I'm more worried about people hitting me than me hitting them, so it's not a huge issue to me. Read more

Great Dash Cam, just got rear ended yesterday and got in on footage. Will make the claims process a lot faster. Only problem is the video is 144mb, so sending it to family is a bit tedious. But hey, it’s got great resolution and the sound is decent, it caught my music classical music, the sudden hard as hell think, and then the scream of terror on impact and my swearing right afterwards. 🫠🫡 -2/10 collision would not recommend getting rear ended. 10/10 camera I’m recommending it to everyone I know. This is an amazing dashcam with lots of awesome features! I would have given it 5 stars but the GPS module/mount for the front camera died one day after the Amazon return window closed. I contacted support and they were really quick to get back to me and start a ticket to send me a new GPS module. Warranty is 2 years if you register. Also the GPS module is available to order separately here on Amazon for cheap so I ordered an extra one to have on hand. I decided to order the inner fish eye camera to go along with this (on VIOFO's website after the fact) so I now have 3 channels recording. I wish I had ordered the 3 channel kit to begin with but I didn't think I would want the cabin camera but it really helps to cover everything happening around the car especially if I get t-boned. I ordered the HK-6 hard wire kit to take advantage of the GEO Fence parked recording. This allows you to set up to 3 different GPS zones where you don't need the parked recording. In my case it is at home and at work since we have plenty of security cameras in both locations. Also ordered the Bluetooth remote control which is an awesome accessory for quickly locking an event that I want to save plus it has two other programmable buttons for almost everything you can think of. The only other thing I ordered extra is the CPL filter for the back camera and a VIOFO 256k microSD card. The kit comes with the CPL filter for the front camera (pay attention to the orientation of the lens filter when you install it). I'm using the HDR setting (4K@30 fps) because it does a better job of capturing the license tags than the 4k@60 fps especially at night. I'm also recording 2 minute files rather than the default one minute. I figure 2 minutes should be a wide enough loop to cover most everything that happens. The WiFi is very fast so downloading files to my iPhone is quick. Overall, the video quality of the front camera is the best I have ever seen for a dashcam. I highly recommend it! Read more

Great product with a minor defect. Really good camera quality but if you own a mid size SUV and up, the 6M rear cable won't be enough. Unless you're ignoring all the air bags and just run them along the upper side of the vehicle. I ran them down under the lower panels and I needed 8M. Update: I reached out to Viofo and they sent me an 8M cable for free. The problem is resolved. Read more
