I use my clippers to cut my nails but if you have a cat or a dog and you KNOW exactly what to do because cutting your dog's and cat's nails wrong, can and will make your animal bleed to death, then I suggest you buy these instead of dog and cat clippers. With dog and cat clippers, there is a screw that constantly gets loose that you need to tighten between cutting each nail, or your animal's nails will split. This is an extremely durable, sturdy, anx trustworthy product.
