Deficult to adjust. Per instruction I loosened the screws a tiny bit with tool that came with it and it was too loose. It's either very tight or very loose. Not a deal breaker but the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, it is as advertised. Well made and looks nice. Read more

Beautiful and well made book stand
This is a really nice and well put together book stand. Right off the bat it felt like it was built with good quality in mind. All the flexible joints hold firmly in place. The page clips provide just the right amount of force against the base. Even the wooden design makes it look fancier than a plain black stand. I also liked how they went with a full 360 rotational base, making it easy to swivel around in any direction. I imagine the tension of the adjustable arm joints is something that will have varying opinions, though. While I found the tension to be firm (and to my preference), my wife found it a little too tense and found it harder to collapse and expand the stand. The stand does come with a wrench so that the tension can be changed, but as it would be expected, once you start loosening it also means it will move more easily when force/weight is placed on the stand. But overall, it a very nice-looking and well-built book stand that is easily recommended. Read more
