We had a small spot in a bedroom that was not being used because of bed and dresser placement. Also had the issue clothes getting hung off of the edges of another cabinet - not great, I know. This shelving system is very sturdy, has two workable shelves at the bottom, a good amount of hanging space for those items that are frequently used, and a shelf at the top. It has made putting things away much easier and everything looks tidier. 100% would recommend. Assembly was easy but if I had to do it again I would add the wheels and poles to the first shelf and make sure that is sturdy before proceeding to the rest of the shelves. The media could not be loaded. My closet was an 86” long rod w shelf (think 1969) and packed from side to side. Now I have loads of space and even a mirror and space to hang my robe and hair towel. Went together nicely without incident. See video as hooks can go in or out and I did both due to space constraints. Don’t be like me and realize after assembly that the hook needs turning. Also when putting hanging rods together there is a threaded connector; make sure it’s screwed in tight to the rod it’s attached to before connecting the next rod or your rack could be wobbly (most rods just slide together but I think it was the hanging rod that screwed as it’s been a hot minute since I assembled). I had purchased a different rolling rack to hang clothes on to dry, but that one was so flimsy... it was constantly leaning, and even fell apart a few times. This one is much smaller (which is why i picked this one as it fits right in my corner), but it is so sturdy. I don't feel I'll ever have to worry about my rack failing again! I like that, since I built it myself, I could customize it for my needs. Since I'm drying wet clothes, I put one shelf at the bottom and 2 at the top. I got some collapsible cubes and use them on those top shelves, and can even hang things on the sides as it came with 2 sets of side hooks. And this was about the same price as that other chintzy rack! There are several other sizes and configurations, so if I find myself needing more storage, I will definitely put these at the top of my list. Read more

This exceptionally sturdy unit solved my problem of having a small closet with no studs located behind the wall in the location where I would normally mount a clothes rod.
