I received this Vipsuh LED Desk Lamp through Amazon Vine for testing and review. Out of the box it did turn on immediately and was already charged, which was a small plus. However, that’s about where the positives end. Major issues: - It is NOT a clip-on light despite the title clearly saying, “Clip On Light.” There is no clip at all. It only has a small, flimsy weighted base that barely keeps it stable. Very misleading. - Size is tiny – dramatically smaller than the product photo suggests. It looks like a full-size desk lamp in the images, but in person it’s closer to the size of a large flashlight standing up. Definitely not what I expected. - The “phone holder” is so narrow and weak that it can’t even hold a regular smartphone securely if the phone is in a case, and it’s completely useless for a tablet or iPad. Anything larger than an cell phone it would wobble and fall. - After roughly an hour on battery, it dims noticeably (normal for rechargeable lamps), but there is zero charging indicator light. You plug it in and have no idea if it’s actually charging or not. The instructions don’t mention any indicator either. - The pen holder is there, but because the whole unit is so small and light. It’s bright but would be nice to be dimmable too. The gooseneck is flexible, but the core features advertised (clip-on capability and usable phone/tablet stand) simply do not exist in the product I received. I expected a practical, versatile desk lamp and got a very small, unstable, misadvertised light. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it when the listing is this inaccurate. Its neat little desk lamp for its size. The adjusted gooseneck proves to be very malleable but sturdy enough to keep its position after adjusting it. The light is bright but cozy at the same time, and the base is good enough to keep most iPhones secure, minus the case. Read more

I got this to put in my work desk because I have a regular desk and then I have a desk where I do certain crafting and stuff, but I didn’t get to use it there cause my husband stole it and took it and made it his little nightstand lamp. He loved the size and grabbed it up immediately. He also likes that there’s a little storage in it. It’s the perfect size. It’s pretty sturdy and has a nice quality. It’s not very heavy at all. It’s actually kind of light. And the functionality of it is absolutely great. Read more

Hmmmm...well, lesson learned to pay way more attention to the measurements than just the pictures. These lamp is quite a bit smaller than I expected. The light is strong, but at such a short height, it's not going to cast much of a light over very far. And while the light itself is flexible/moveable, if you stretch it too far in either direction, it falls over. The base is very flimsy and not weighted really at all. Putting a few pens in it is not going to stop that from happening. It does hold my phone in the cradle as shown, which is the only thing that weights it enough to keep it from falling over. Mine also had some black scratches on the plastic, hopefully a magic eraser will buff those out, but still strange to see it like that right out of the box. Read more

This desk lamp has a nice design and the built-in pen holder is useful, but the performance is limited. The light output is weaker than expected and does not brighten a work area very well. The gooseneck moves, but it feels a bit loose and does not always stay in the exact position you want. The phone holder works for smaller phones, though it is not very stable with heavier ones. The rechargeable battery runs, but the runtime is shorter than advertised.
