I purchased in a size 8 years for my 8 year old who is wearing size 8 jeans, 7/8 shorts and shirts at Target and Old Navy. First off, I loved this on him! Beautiful color blue, the blue fabric is not too thick or thin, it lays very nicely; loved the tie, you can adjust the vest with buckle in back, pants also have adjustable waist with button zip fly, however shirt is a little thin and has pleated bib front like a traditional tux (wish it was not). Despite being adjustable the pants were too big for my son as he is rather slim, height 4’4” and weighs about 54#, and you can see in the picture the crotch inseam just hangs too long for him. The shirt was too wide at the shoulders for him as well, the seam was probably at least an inch and a half over his shoulder. I am exchanging for smaller size. Great value for the money! Read more

I wanted to leave some sizing info here for anyone that is struggling to pick a size like I was. My son wears a 4/5 or 6/7 in Targets Cat & Jack brand. The 4/5 fits him now and the 6/5 is just a little big. I ended up buying him a 5T because I figured it was middle of the road and I want the suit to fit well. So this suit came in and I would say the 5T was the best choice I could have made. The shirt and jacket seem fitted and the vest can be adjusted to fit tighter. However the pants are so big, they will work for what we need it for, but not without a belt because they fall off and slightly bunch at the bottom. I think the sizing is true to size on top and run large on the bottom. Read more
