I've been shopping for a robe that is super soft, plush and cozy, of medium weight, with a fun whimsical pattern. This one arrived and checked all the boxes! I wear an 8/10 dress size, ordered a large, and it runs true to size. The sleeves hit the wrist, and the overall length ends at mid-shin. So, order your usual size for a functional robe.... wearing while making breakfast, grabbing the mail, etc. I wear my robe when lounging only and prefer to feel enveloped like wearing a blanket, so I am upsizing to the XL. Re: material weight, the thickness of this robe is really ideal. Not too thin, but plush enough to provide the sensation of a thicker material w/o overheating you!! I was disappointed. Plush flannel? Discription misleading. Do not expect flannel. It is a light weight stretchy polyester fur pile robe. Arms are very long. The hood is annoying as it doesnt allow a snug fit, but it is soft next to skin. I am a 5'5", 40C, 200 lbs.. I ordered a XL, it drapes at my ankle, fits well at top, but as I said earlier the hem doesnt close when wrapped. I bought the grey color as it was less expensive than the more vibrant colors. I now see that there are only navy, pink, and lavender colors left and Vislivin Manufacturers lowered the price to $19.99 on remaining colors since I ordered mine, which had only been 5 days. I ordered on a Tues. and received on that Fri. I am keeping the robe, because of the low price, and an extra robe would be nice for a guest. I do not recommend if you are looking for a stylish robe. I washed it before I tried it on, so maybe that distorted the hem. I would not buy another one. If you are broad shouldered and skinny at waist it might fit ok. Read more
