I am in love with the xs viv menstrual cup! I barely feel it at all. It’s very soft/flexible. Some advice I’ll give is that since it’s so soft and flexible, the seal breaks pretty easily. On one hand that good since you won’t have to fight to get it out but if you’re someone who very active or even get aroused while its in (when aroused the vaginal canal widens and lengths) the seal breaks and you will experience leaks. I use the xs viv cup for day one and two since that’s when I experience cramps and I’m very sensitive down there. Then days 3-5 I use the mini/small 24ml peach life extra firm(it comes in soft, medium firm, and extra firm). The firmness will ensure that the seal doesn’t break even when you’re active or aroused. It’s a bit larger than the viv xs so I like using it for days 3-5 since I don’t cramp on those days and I’m less sensitive. I have tried the flex menstrual cup in size one or whatever the smallest size is and the diva cup in the smallest size. The flex cup starts to ache after a while. Plus, the “seal breaking string” is not as easy to use. I had to pull pretty hard to get it out which caused some pain. I also prefer the ring system for removal. The diva cup was hard to remove since it has no removal string or ring. The viv cup will give you comfort and ease taking it out. The peach life will give you security. Read more
I am obsessed with this cup — I’ve literally been using a cup for 5 years, and have been using a Viv cup for 2 years now (I bought this 2nd one on Amazon because I left mine at my parents place). The Viv cup is the best one I’ve used by far!! Here is why: 1. It’s black — I used a clear cup (from Boots in London during my study abroad) and it got so stained and gross after 6 months. 2. It doesn’t have a stem — every single other cup (diva, honey pot, Saalt, etc) I’ve used had a stem I needed to cut which would literally poke me down there. So uncomfortable when I was working out. 3. It has a ring — I sometimes wear acrylic nails which would make it really hard to grab the other cups I had tried. The ring makes it really easy to hook with my finger and pull out without having to grab with my long nails. 4. It’s comfortable, like it don’t notice it comfortable — I think a big part of this is that it has a ring rather than a stem, but I love not feeling it! 5. Leak proof — I have never leaked with Viv! I only need to empty it morning and night of my cycle and never have and issue with leaking or bleeding through. It’s seriously so good! I tell everyone about it. I am also loving the cup wash (didn’t buy that with my first one and it’s made the cleaning a lot faster and easier). And the box says beginner friendly — I can confirm, if you’ve never tried a cup, this one is the easiest one to insert. I’m such a fan!! Read more
I switched to this cup from the divacup after using that for years because I thought the little loop on this one looked more user friendly. Can confirm, the loop is far superior to the stem! This cup is smaller than the divacup and therefore holds less, so requires more frequent emptying/cleaning, but the loop makes it so convenient and it’s also a LOT more comfortable overall in my body. Everyone is different, but this was a good choice for me. Also, probably TMI, but I don’t know who may need this info: if you do experience leaking with this right after insertion, then you’ll want to use your finger to go around the edges of the cup while it’s inside you to ensure that the cup is covering the entrance to your cervix. Leaks generally happen at the beginning only if the cup lands beside the cervix instead of covering over top of it. Read more

I had problems during my period as a mom of 2 under 2, I never had time to change tampons every hour, and so I tried pads but then I would end up sitting in the pad too long and get itchy and end up with a yeast infection after. I have a pretty heavy flow, even super tampons I needed to change frequently. I saw the idea of cups and went with this one because of the color. I’ve seen some that look AWFUL from the staining. First period with this down and it’s SO comfortable I don’t feel it. I wash it in the morning and then before I go to bed and it hasn’t over filled and is super easy to insert, just as easy as a tampon in my opinion No waste, no toxic shock risk, no changing tampons every hour. 10/10 recommend!!!! I am a full convert to using a menstrual cup over tampons. Tampons give me nausea and headaches, and worse cramps. Menstrual cups do not. This is my second menstrual cup and my favorite. The circular pull tab on the bottom makes removal easy. This is also very easy to clean. Read more
In the times I was able to get it in, it did its job well, and I appreciated the ring for an easier removal. I've been a cup user for over 5 years so I know the rights and wrongs when it comes to insertion, but whatever material this cup is made out of has wayyyy too much friction for me and is extremely painful to put in - in my experience. I am currently on my period and couldn't even use it because the entrance pain is so bad :( I have used Lena cups in the past and never had that experience with thier cups, so even though they are harder to remove, I'll be going back to my lena cup :( Read more
