I tried on and returned 5 different pair of boots! I tried knee high and ankle. But all were too wide in ankle and calf. Why do all manufacturers assume if you have a large shoe size the ankle and calf should be made 2-3” wider??? I have slim ankles and calves. For a supposedly sock form fitting boot, they were 1” too wide around upper ankle but overall they were the best fitting I could find for lower ankle. And I’ll wear with long skirts or wide leg pants to be less noticeable. Yes the sole is non-slip rubber but why didn’t they make the heel non-slip too instead of slippery cheap plastic? I went to shoemaker and for $20 he replaced with rubber bottom heel. Read more
