Bought this for a weird reason. I use a chiropractic bladder for my back and neck and was originally using them on the floor as it was a hard surface. Bought this so I could put it on the bed and get the same effect and not have to drag myself off the ground as using the bladders makes my muscles pretty weak. I'm 5'4" and am able to fit my torso on it to use the tool effectively. Very sturdy. Read more

Received the transfer board very quickly, however when I checked the surface it was rough and not suitable to slide on. It felt like dust had gotten onto both surfaces before the clear finish was dry. I had to sand both sides smooth and apply a clear polyethene coat to it until I had a smooth surface. Since then I have used it to transfer my wife from her wheelchair to the car and to other seats and it works great. Read more

I found this product useless as a transfer board. When it arrived, the board looked like it was shipped before it was completed. It had chips in the wood that would have led to splinters. A useful transfer board needs enough sanding and varnish to make it smooth for gliding. This board lacked both. It was also too thick to easily fit under the body and someone lacking sufficient arm strength to lift themself onto the board. I liked the length. Alas, the cons outweighed the pro, and I’m using it as a shelf. Read more
