Space-saving, stable, great!

Stable, low-profile, adjustable. It is what it says it is and it works well. If I were to improve it, I'd like to see some sort of adjustable-tension spring height mechanism for easy raising and lowering your screen. As it is, you must go behind the screen to loosen and tighten a knob to raise/lower the screen. It works, but I was used to the very slick and easy adjustment that the factory stand my Westinghouse monitor came with. I'm totally happy with this as is, but if Vivo wanted an idea for improvement, that's the only thing I can think of. Read more

Sturdy, no frills monitor arm

So far, this monitor arm has been working out great. I appreciate that it was easy to install, quite sturdy, and takes up very little space. The only real drawback is that it's not as adjustable as other arms, so if you need something fully articulated or you see yourself frequently moving your monitor, you may want to look elsewhere. If you're a "set it and forget it" guy like me, this is perfect. Read more

Only works for desks less than 25mm (~1 inch) thick

I should have taken the time to read the reviews because if I did, I would have learned that the desk clamp only works for desks that are less than 1 inch thick. This was a significant letdown because the rest of the stand was solid. I'm curious why VIVO used this clamp instead of the standard adjustable clamps in their other monitor arms. I ended up returning it and purchasing the Hemudu (https://www.amazon.com/HEMUDU-Monitor-Computer-Adjustable-Rotation/dp/B09KKY2C9X) version that has that type of clamp. The VIVO one is more sturdy, but it does work for desks that are thicker than 1 inch. Read more

It works well...with a few tiny exceptions

Mounted an 32" Acer monitor to this stand. Just got this in this past Sunday and put it together. I won't be critical of the build. Don't think I could be considering it is pretty sturdy. Didn't have an issue putting it together, despite the lack of instructions in the packaging. All of the mounting hardware fit together great, and without an issue except for one small issue I had that wasn't this particular product's fault. Pros: Easy to assemble (even without detailed instructions) All metal construction Decent height...These pros are self explanatory. Cons (Not a lot really): Locking mechanism - I bought this primarily because of it's low profile. It would have been great for my desk to be flush against the wall, but I was willing to deal with a slight gap because of the clamp. Yet the locking mechanism for the monitor's height adjustment sticks far enough out that the slight gap turned into a decent sized gap. Cable management clip - This little piece of plastic has good intentions, it really does. But for most of us who try to cable manage with velcro straps and various other implements, that clip provided me with very little if any assistance. I think the attempt is commendable, but the double ended clip doesn't live up to it's existence. Vesa mounting plate - Honestly the plate itself is fine. There were no misaligned holes or whatever. The one included in mine does a great job at rotating and tilting, but swiveling is practically impossible. My monitor rotates so freely that I can almost treat it like the prop on a circa early 1900's aircraft. And it tilts just by staring at it hard enough. But if I try to swivel it, the monitor might come right off the stand. Wishes: Make the "wingnut" on the backside of the mount arm the type that you could fold the "wings" down so that it lays flush. Make the cable management part of the arm so you can hide cables better. Have the Vesa plate that attaches directly to the monitor come with a tension adjustment. Besides those few little things, I think this mount works well. Of course time will tell. So if something pops up, I will amend this review. Read more

Great monitor mounting stand

This monitor mount has been solid. The mounting system uses a weird friction clamp to the table but I haven’t experienced any wobbling or stability issues. It’s held my 34 inch curved widescreen in place perfectly. It doesn’t have the adjustability of a swing arm mount but that’s to be expected based off its design. Overall it’s performed perfectly so far over the few weeks I’ve had it. Read more

Best low profile stand I could find for 32"

Very solid construction, all critical parts are metal. Most parts identical to Kensington SmartFit K55512 (base clamp and wing nut in back are different). VIVO clamp mounts stand app. 22 mm (7/8") closer to edge of table than Kensington stand (see picture). Kensington's has a nut that resembles a ship's helm, which might be easier to operate in tight spaces. For mew the VIVO wing nut works just fine. I mounted a 32" Asus ProArt PA32QCV. It can be lowered all the way (lower edge 2" over table). In fully elevated position the monitor can be turned 90°. Read more

Very stable, doesn't go low enough

This is a decent stand. There are a few minor design flaws with the connection to the stand that prevent it from going lower. I use a sit/stand desk, recently got a larger 27" curved monitor, and because of the size of the new monitor need it to be lower. However, it goes very high if that is what you need. As described I wouldn't want to use it to move up and down throughout the day. Generally you'll only end up standing for 5-10 minutes in my experience. The clamp design is a bit cumbersome and could use some knurl or rubberized grip where it contacts the desk. The mount looks a bit unfinished from the side. Cable management could be better. MUCH better than your typical inexpensive stand though. Read more

Does what it says, sturdy, clean look.

Single arm stand worked great. Mounted to my glass top desk by adding a piece of 1x3 to the back edge. Clamped on tightly. Height adjusts easily. Cable clamp holds both cables for my monitor. Used to mount a 35" Monoprice ultrawide monitor. The rotation adjustment could be a bit stiffer, but if you set the monitor and don't have to touch it again, it works great. Very happy with this purchase. Read more
