This desk from VIVO was one of the best purchases I've ever made. The height adjustment works great, and the way the desk is setup with the cable storage system in the back makes it really easy to mount monitors with VESA mounts in the right locations while still having access to the cable storage bays. The desk is extremely stable, and I was a little worried that the size would be too big for what I needed for a work area, but I have found the extra space on the sides to be more useful than I could have thought possible due to being able to put stuff directly on the desk like my laptop, laptop dock, game controllers, and other peripherals I used to keep under my old desk. This desk was well worth the money. Every desk that I have seen with comparable features was $200 to $400 more. I've bought other items from VIVO for my office, and I have found everything to be higher quality than I expected for the low prices charged. I was looking for a quick, cheap solution to solve some short-term problems, and I ended up with a desk, monitor mounts, and other stuff that will last for years. Read more
For anyone considering this desk but hesitating due to the “difficult” assembly - do it. I had absolutely no issues putting this thing together, instructions were straightforward and all bolts fit. There was some mild adjustment I had to do, but if you have assembled ikea furniture you can definitely assemble this. Quality is great. It’s not “precision engineered”, and some things are slightly off, but you can push it into place to bolt it in. It’s very sturdy, if I rock it back and forth it will move but that’s not surprising given the way the legs are. My only complaint is the missing middle shelf. There are threads in the top shelf for it, the top shelf lifts up, why not include the third one?? I debated deducting a star just for that. But when you consider this desk is trying to compete with another brand charging almost 3x as much, you really honestly can’t beat it. Would recommend. Read more

Good quality nice smooth motor love the full size Matt for the top - however I deduct one star as you will need at least an hour to assemble and you better have some patience and small finger for the flip up back storage - it’s a jigsaw puzzle of pieces but nice assembled pretty nice Read more
Very happy with this desk. Works great both sitting (height 28.5" at lowest setting) and standing. The wire management trays are great, large enough to hold power strips and hide unsightly wires, and providing additional desktop space. The trays on my desk are black, not silver as shown in the picture, which I prefer. The desktop pad provides a comfortable surface and hides the seams. The height adjusts quickly and easily, and the four memory buttons allow for several preset configurations. Assembly was easy, though took some time, and it's best to have two people. Suggest reading the instructions for the desktop before putting the frame together, as the width needs to be adjusted carefully to line up with the pre-drilled holes. Read more
The desk is very good quality. No issues. Assembly was intuitive but if you are not real comfortable with assembling a heavy piece with like this it might be worth paying the extra money for assembly. There were parts of the assembly that required strong hands. This was a great value for the spend. Read more
TLDR: It's a decent desk for the price. But assembly is very annoying with some design flaws. Details: Assembly is an absolute bear with this monstrous desk. One of the issues with desks like this is you have to accept the reality that because you didn't pay top dollar, you are going to get a multi-piece desktop made of cheap MDF. I accepted that reality, because the manufacturer has gone with the innovative full sized custom mouse pad desktop, which hides any imperfections on the surface, and is perfectly pleasant to use. I have an additional oversized felt keyboard and mouse pad that I placed on top also. As long as you are not expecting something that looks like thick solid wood, you'll be fine. The cable management system is a bit small, which is going to restrict some of your choices for extension cable and outlets. It was this that probably took 45 minutes of a really excessive two hour assembly process. And no, I'm not some newbie here. I used to have a student job working at a hardware store where I assembled a ton of their display furniture. The cable management system is attached with six screws that are completely impossible to access, and two of the pre-drilled holes were omitted, so I had to add them. Let's just say there was cussing and promising a one star review during this tedious process. Thankfully, everything else in the assembly was fine. No missing parts, no other missing pre-drilled holes. Once the entire thing was assembled, everything went great and there were no issues with usage. It feels reasonably sturdy and stable. The up and down height action is quiet and refined, with four memory settings and a read out that goes from 73 to about 120cm. Non-Metric loving Americans can simply eyeball the height and remember what number they like or program a memory button. Overall, I love the size and overall quality of the desk. It isn't going to have the quality of your $800-$1000 products, but then again, it doesn't cost that much so you you get what you pay for. Despite the tedious and avoidable issues with assembly, it's a good solid desk that was a big upgrade over the old one. I wish assembly was easier and the cable management compartments were larger. And heck, a slightly thicker desktop would be nice. Although I'd say this entire frame could be reused if I ever decided to buy a giant piece of wood to take this to the next level. Read more
