Perfect for My Ultrawide Setup – Smooth, Strong, and Sleek!

I’ve been using the VIVO Premium Aluminum Full Motion Mount (STAND-V101BB) for a few weeks now, and it’s exceeded every expectation. I paired it with my 34” ultrawide curved monitor, and the fit is perfect. Setup was straightforward with clear instructions, and it includes both clamp and grommet options – I went with the clamp, and it feels rock solid on my desk. The motion is incredibly smooth. Tilt, swivel, rotation – everything moves exactly how I want it to without feeling loose or stiff. The counterbalance lift system works great and makes adjusting height a breeze. Once I found the sweet spot, it stays put with zero sagging or drifting. The build quality is top-notch – sturdy aluminum, no plastic flex, and it handles the weight of my monitor with confidence. Bonus points for the cable management system, which keeps everything looking clean (was to lazy to tuck in those lousy wires!) If you’re running a large or ultrawide monitor and want a mount that’s strong, adjustable, and easy on the eyes, this is absolutely worth the price. Highly recommend! Read more

Clean looking and strong

Probably one of the best stands Ive owned since buying them. This would be my 4th stand for my Asus OLED. It’s sturdy and not ugly looking. All the adjustments work and the monitor arm movement is nice. If you have the move or twist it in an office setting I would spend $200 or more of a professional one that will last with tons of adjustment and movement. However I do adjust and move this monitor properly 10 times a week. Read more

Good range of motion, solidly built

Samuel JohnJanuary 6, 2023✓ Verified purchase

Once installed, setup and adjusted, i was able to get my monitors exactly where they're needed. For me, i had to loosen the tension screw quite a bit because my monitors are fairly light. Good news is that there is a wide range of tension to be able to support much heavier monitors. The tilt and rotate features are excellent. Its solid and sturdy with well thoughtout features. I also have more height available than I need, suggesting that it will work well for taller people (>6ft.), too! I need something that allows me to not need to look down or up at my screens. I need them exactly eye level, reducing physical strain during extended use and I was able to acheive my goal. If you're taller than most, this is the one to get. If you're between 5'5" and 6ft., you could also benefit because often, even the shorter ones still aren't tall enough to make the screens exactly eye level. And they're not nearly as adjustable. If you're below 5'5" tall, you might not need this to be able to adjust your monitors to exactly eye level, depending on your desk and chair setup. But you might end up liking it anyway because of the range of motion available. Maybe your current stand is too tall and you need something to bring the screens lower to you - this one can do that as well! Overall, I'd recommend this over the shorter, less adjustable models for most people, for most setups. Read more

Quality Product, decent services, with a few forgivable issues.

HaggisJanuary 28, 2021✓ Verified purchase

Let me first say that I do like this product. It is well thought out, and I believe it is sturdy and good quality. I installed using the grommet through the desk (the instructions really did NOT help with this in terms of how to measure, etc. If mounting through the desk, you will need to make sure that you leave enough room for the plate under the desk to ensure it will fit. I got it "just right", almost by accident. Once installed, it is very sturdy on the desk-top. My 32" curved Philips is on the high end of the recommended range at 17 lbs, but it seems to hold up very nicely. I did have to significantly tighten the VESA Mount so it would not "droop" but the limits the tilting function. Here's the issues I had with my particular delivery: 1. Missing Parts: The VESA Mounts were missing from the box (Poor Quality Control or..... a Return). - I received on a Sunday so called next business day and the rep' promptly sent via USPS Priority Mail the 2 VESA mounts that SHOULD have been in the box. At that point I didn't really inspect much closer. I should have. 2. Clearly a Return: As can be seen from the tool marks on the pic I posted, it had been previously used / installed / whatever. None of this affects functionality, but when I buy New, I want NEW, not "New-ish"... 3. Also Missing: Underneath the base, there are rubber washers to protect the desktop. Mine was missing 1 and the other I found in stuck to the top of the base. Again, quality check issues. I had to fabricate something to keep the plate properly "balanced" (used a 3M strip that I cut). Since I had to seriously tighten the VESA mount, I'm not really able to tilt the monitor much as previously noted. The height adjustment from the base is a very novel mechanism. You pull out the lever and drop it back down to rotate it. This means you don't have to use a wrench or screwdriver to adjust. The main post does have 2 very small screws that can be tightened once you screw the mounting post into place, however they are small and a bit flimsy, so I just left them as they are. I like that the Base has USB ports and it came with 2 3.0 USB cables, so very nice to have that for charging USB devices, etc. The VESA mounts are also quick-release in case you have to remove or change the monitor (nice). For the price, I think this is a decent product and I would recommend it, just be sure you get what you pay for, and confirm the box contents before you start to install. Recommend if you plan to use this for a Sit/Stand type of application that you put the arm support higher on the post. Installation Tip for using Grommet. 1. As my father used to say. Measure twice, cut once. Make sure you have the positioning of the mount before you drill a hole in your desk, I marked mine, but I also put duct-tape on the desk top and bottom, before I drilled the hole just in case the drill slipped or the finish started to separate. Minimum desk thickness is 1" I believe (which mine is). Read more
