Not as high quality as I expected for the price--feels like cheap plastic. The part around the ceramic heating plates is really hot so you have to be careful not to burn your fingers as you're using it but the straightener is small and thin so you have to be careful about hand placement. Read more

It feels somewhat smaller than regular 1 inch iron that I’d used. It heats up fast but doesn’t feel as hot as my other iron, so just need to set at higher number. It feels sturdy, specially the cord connection, it rotates well, so the cord doesn’t twist as much as cheaper ones. If you use it correctly, the non-splitted side to the outside of your hair and splitted side under your hair, then it will leave your hair shinny. If you use it the other way, it doesn’t style well.
