I typically carry quite a large purse... and darn it, the older I get, the larger the purses get. I think I have abandonment issues, because I feel the need to carry a LOT of my stuff everywhere I go. TOO much stuff, really. I went through, I swear, hundreds of purses this past week, and nothing seemed right. Then I found this one. I had been looking at tote bags, and kept thinking, the larger the better, right? Then I would look at models carrying them, and felt that most of the ones I wanted looked ridiculously HUGE! To carry as an everyday purse, I mean. Ask any woman with a huge handbag, and she'll tell you that, unless you have it organized in some way, EVERYTHING drops instantly to the bottom of your purse. I was fed up, and determined that it wasn't going to happen again. I started searching for bags that had LOTS of pockets. This time, more was MORE! Still, nothing I found seemed to be right. Then I found this one. There was a big delay in shipping, which Amazon kindly and promptly made right (thanks, folks). The delay only gave me more time to worry that I had made a mistake, that this bag was going to arrive and be HALF the size i had anticipated. That the pockets would have seemed deceptively large in photos, but tiny when it arrived. I neednt have worried! I'm thrilled with this bag. Every single pocket and feature has been well thought out. The detachable strap is fully adjustable. The fabric is really quality, and seems like it will be fully waterproof. The end pockets are perfect for exactly what they show in the listing: one that will hold a water bottle (not huge, but a decent size), and the other that will hold something like a phone or pocket-size umbrella, with an elastic top to stretch but hold contents snugly. The pockets are perfect -- a perfect size, perfect arrangement, and perfect number of them. The zippers are quality, and they open and close smoothly and securely, absolutely no issues. Three pockets on the front of the purse, in 3 different sizes, for makeup, lipsticks, compacts, hand cream, hand sanitizer, or any other small or medium sized accessories. One large zippered pocket in the back that runs the width of the bag. Items in this pocket should be more on the flat side, because whatever you put in this one tends to eat away at the space INSIDE the bag. I put my power bank and pocket packs of tissues in this pocket, and it doesn't bulge out at all. Inside the bag, there is a large zippered pocket (also probably should have relatively flat-ish items) and two simple pockets that I tend to put sunglasses or taller things in. All of these pockets are what made me even consider a purse this small (for me, it is!), and despite my worries, everything i really need FITS IN THIS BAG!! I'm no longer carrying an 8-10 lb hobo sack full of things I don't even realize I'm carrying. THIS should definitely fall under the category of Organizer Handbag!! The bag is exactly the right size to comfortably wear across the body. We'll made, with inside lining, and pockets are perfect for separating different categories of items (phone, small water bottle, cosmetics, and cash (with hidden zipper pull for theft prevention). I give it one star off for color....the purple is more blue than purple ("blurple"). I'm passionate about purple, so even small differences in color that don't match the photos are very noticeable to me....and annoying! But it's a good bag, so I told myself I'd accept the blurple, even though I wouldn't have purchased it if I saw it on the rack at a retail store. Read more

A FOLLOWUP FOUR MONTHS LATER: Buyer beware: I do really love the design of this purse, as shown by my original review below. However, it did not hold up well. The main zipper broke at the beginning of a trip and I had to hold it together with two safety pins for several weeks until I was home and bought a different (more expensive, sturdier) bag. If you look through the other reviews you will see that other people have had this same problem. Since it's a known problem it seems to me that the manufacturer should fix it. When I wrote to the supplier, the answer was that they were sorry and to send a picture. I don't feel comfortable about uploading pictures in this situation so I didn't send one. Just bought a different purse instead. I'm sad to write this followup review because the purse had the perfect features I wanted. That said, I would like it to last more than 4 months. MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: It's very lightweight, has several functional zippered compartments, a good adjustable strap, and a side pocket with velcro closure that holds a small sanitizer and small sunscreen stick. One of the outside zippered pockets works very well for storing and easily retrieving my extra large iPhone. The bottom one is perfect for coins and receipts. It's a perfect size for my needs. Not so small that it's hard to hold everything I want to carry. Not so large that I am tempted to add many things that will make it too heavy. I would give it 5 stars except that the drink holder side pocket is poorly designed and basically too small. I haven't found an alternate use for it. It seems sturdy enough after several weeks of use. I got the dark blue/navy one. It looks pretty subdued until it the sunlight hits it -- then it's pretty bright. But I don't mind because I got it to be a casual purse for travel. Just be aware that the color may be a bit harsh/bright compared to what's shown on your screen. Read more

I had to return this purse because it came with two water bottle holders. And then they sent me back the same one I returned! This stuff from China is getting ridiculous! This purse looks all cobbled up and generic. I usually don't complain but I had to warn ppl this time. The pleat on the second pocket looks like a child sewn it. Not worth it for 25$ False advertising, no pouch with flap. Read more
