I needed a small water bottle to toss in my bike bag when I go bicycling. This one is sturdy and looks good in the stainless steel version. This is the standard generic stainless steel water bottle which is of very good quality. It has a very good seal and does not leak. Don't know about temp conditions as I just use room temp water. I got the regular silver one because the ones with coatings can come off as I've read. The silver one has no coating. The smaller 12 oz one fits better in my backpack water bottle holder. I have a 17 oz from a different brand which falls out. I was considering 8 or 9 oz bottles but in looking at the measurements, those other sizes may hold less water by volume but are still about the same size. Great for people of all ages. Read more

I purchased four of the green colored bottles. They all arrived in good condition. No scratches or defects. The manufacturing quality is very good, better than I expected for the price. The caps have a silicone gasket that seals very well. The bottles are painted, but given they are stainless steel that would be the only way they could come in colors. The paint has a slight texture to it, giving the impression of a thick coating. So far I have not noticed any scratches. If one does get a scratch I suspect it will be due to my own reckless handling. They don't keep cold liquids cold for as long as the top quality (and expensive!) bottles do, but they do keep them cold to cool for most of the day. I really think you can't go wrong with these bottles. I'm sure I'll be ordering a few more. Read more
