Ordered the 12 pack and very happy with the product, will be ordering more. Easy to install, took 20 minutes for a dozen. The plastic stakes are durable, for a firm hold, don't be afraid to give them a couple of love taps from a rubber hammer after inserting them into the ground. I've had this 8-pack set for about 6-months and all are working OK. I set them on the medium brightness setting (12-hours duration) and they are still illuminated at sunrise, albeit at a reduced brightness level. It appears that the brightness level gradually drops as the battery charge level drops from my medium setting at sunset to a level probably near low at sunrise. During the night, say about 3-4 hours after sunset, the brightness level drops to about mid-way between medium and low. Since they are rated at 300 lumens max, this lower illumination level discussed above will not sufficiently illuminate an object 10-15 feet away for normal landscape lighting (flags, house numbers, palm trees, etc.), particularly as it nears sunrise. I did not expect a great illumination level from these 300 lumen max lights, thus I am not disappointed and would buy them again based upon my experience with them for six months. Read more

5Update: 02/09/26 It ain't lookin' good. Out of 14 I am down to 5....FIVE out of 14 are still working. That's right 9 have failed. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Update: 11/20/25 3 more failures. Up to 8 out of 14 failed now. One is just dead. Two others come on at very low light and don't last long. Update: 11/6/25 2 more units have failed. 5 out of 14 have failed in less than a month. Update: 11/3/2025 3rd unit failed last night. After a long, sunny day, just didn't come on at night fall. Toggling trough hi/med/low does nothing. I'm starting to believe these units don't have a BMS. You have a few low-light days and the battery goes to zero (BMS would prevent this). LiON batteries just die when this happens. Original Review: 10/30/2025 I ordered 8 of these a month ago. They worked fine so I ordered 6 more. So, 14 now. Just after I ordered the last 6, 1 of the originals failed. I took it down and brought it in to have a look. It was FULL of water. I shook out a good ounce or two of it. So I took it to the bench to open it up. One of the reasons I bought these is that they APPEARED to be serviceable. Two screws in the back. Guess what...the entire thing is glued together. I don't even know why they bothered with the screws. The screws are at the bottom of 1 inch holes, which fill up with water and slowly trickle into the unit. I deployed one of the new batch 2 days ago. IT has failed. Comes on at dusk for about 60 seconds then dims to zero. You have to toggle it off, turn it back on, same thing happens. Clearly the 18650 inside was depleted too far for too long. If only I could easily open it up and replace the 18650 inside. So, 2 out of 14 failed in 5 weeks. One, straight out of the box. In total, out of 12 lights, 3 did not work at all, one was super twitchy, and one wouldnot cycle through the colors. Kind of hard getting ahold of the manufacturer. However Customer service made it right, like always. They put off a decent light, and the green is super bright. Also, the solar panel being adjustable is awesome to catch the sun no matter how you position them. Only ones i've seen so far that do that. The stakes are super thick and strong too. So many good things going for them, it's just too bad only 7 out of 12 actually functioned properly. Read more

We use over a dozen of these to mark the edge of our property and illuminate our driveway. There's no street lighting on our road and we're situated near 2 curves. As a result, it's important folks don't drive into our fence and it's important to see our driveway as we drive in. Living in the Northeast, days get short and nights are dark. These have worked flawlessly for months now. Bright enough to be seen from a long distance, decent build, battery lasts over 12 hours on lowest light setting, and the warm light is a nice touch.
