After using the VOLPAM electric scooter for a while, I think it’s a really solid option if you want an affordable commuter scooter. It’s easy to set up and the controls are simple to learn, even if you’ve never used an electric scooter before. What I liked: • Good speed: It reaches around 18–19 mph, which feels quick enough for commuting or getting around campus/short trips. • Smooth ride: The 8.5” tires handle sidewalks and pavement well and feel stable while riding. • Folding design: It folds in seconds, which makes it easy to store or put in a car trunk. • Battery life: I’m able to get several rides out of a charge depending on distance and speed. • Clear display: The screen shows speed and battery level clearly while riding. Things to know: Like most scooters in this price range, it rides best on smooth pavement and the suspension is fairly basic. But for commuting, running errands, or quick trips, it works really well. Overall, this is a great value scooter. If you want something reliable, fairly fast, and easy to carry/store without spending a lot, the VOLPAM is a great choice. Read more

Scooter itself: nice, most of the time no complaints, everything makes sense. 28 mile range is a lie of course (i got the 28 mile range model), never got past 15 miles range in the best conditions. But, I figured by now, they all lie, so no biggie on that one. After about 6 months takes longer to charge. Doesn't charge fully as fast as before. Rear mudguard/fender is *terrible*: it's a flimsy piece of plastic that is relied upon to carry the scooter when folded, so the whole fender quite predictably snapped off on month 7. I mean, who makes decorative flimsy fender a hook-up to carry the whole weight of the scooter? The fender is basically designed to break and snap off shortly after purchase. The worst part: repairability of this scooter is absolute zero. No official or unofficial parts anywhere. All shops refuse to deal with this scooter. Even if you manage to find some parts that might fit, the whole thing is sealed with glue sealant inside, so even for something as minor as changing a taillight, impossible! you are expected to throw away this scooter and buy a new one even if a small part of it cracks or goes out. It's impossible to do even very minor repairs by design, even if you manage to find any parts anywhere. Read more

The media could not be loaded. A great way to get around for school or work. We use it twice a day: my son in the morning to get to school and I in the afternoon to get to work. The quality is noticeably good; it's robust and handles all kinds of roads. The power is concentrated in the front wheel, which allows for better speed. The brakes are powerful, which makes it very safe to ride. When you brake, the rear light comes on to warn drivers to be careful. It also has a powerful front light for riding at night. You have to download an app that allows you to change the driving modes, monitor the battery level, and most importantly, it has an anti-theft feature, which is very beneficial. The price is good, especially since two people use it for various activities. Read more

This scooter is more than we expected. The bumble bee look is raw. It's very quiet and gives a smooth ride. The suspension works great. It gets up to 30mph but 33-35 down hill, back break light blinks when you press the break, it has a wide deck, the headlight is pretty bright & it doesn't take very long to charge. My husband and I use it for (15 miles a day) short distance rides. It took about 3 days to run the battery down. However, when the battery got to 1 red flashing bar it still got up to 30 miles an hour & it never actually died. When we unboxed the scooter and plugged it in to charge; the battery was already fully charged. That was FUNTABULOUS! I'm 5'1 an my husband is 6'2 and the scooter as far as the height of the bars is for adults. It's very sturdy. For our 1st scooter ever we agree this was a great investment. I'm giving 4 stars only because we haven't had a chance to test out the features when connected to your cell phone. We look forward to it though. Read more

This was an awesome purchase. Great quality, sturdy and can take some hits during falls :) My college student rides it regularly with friends around campus and city limits. Battery charge lasts a long time. She especially relies on lighting for safety. Controls on handles are perfect for control. Read more

Great scooter, but the charger we received with it was defective, and will not charge unless you wiggle it around just right. Also, the rear fender and brake light assembly snaps off very easily bc it has no support brackets whatsoever... just 2 bolts to fasten it down. I will give it a 5-star review if they make it right for these 2 particular issues I've brought to their attention (on March 14th 2026). Scooter was purchased in Nov. of 25 (less than 6 mos ago).
